I would support chemical castration for repeat sex offenders but would not like to support any initiative that encourages witch hunts, vigilante justice etc. so am more ambivalent about the naming and shaming idea.  Perhaps putting a GPS bracelet on offenders to ensure they stay away from high risk areas, such as schools, playgrounds etc. would help keep released offenders on the straight and narrow?

where would you put the bracelet on BB?  :D  it could be like a vibrating ring. but instead of being a turn on, it could give electric jabs to the person everytime the device approaches something tight. like a car signal when you're trying to park and getting to close to an obstruction. perhaps BigMick could sort this one out  :D

Sharks are not b@stards!The ocean is their home,ya go there where ya know they are and you take your chances..simple as that!
They dont deserve to be killed especially the way they pull them out with a barb slice their fins off and throw them back in to die in agony...All for fins to make shark fin soup..Fu*king disgusting and pure evil!
Sharks deserve respect,fantastic creature IMO!
They've been here a lot longer than us and they'll probably be here when we have gone as well!

Here here Barry

And for record here in Oz more people die from a bee sting then they do from shark attack

World be better place if more people were getting eaten by animals and not vica versa but I'm one of those ZPG nuts :)

Every German I've met of my generation or younger has been raised to abhore what happened under the Nazis so I think it would take a massive, society-wide moral collapse for them to revisit those kinds of attitudes on a collective scale.

Not met many Germans then Bob.  There are still right wing issues over there

I had a german girlfriend for a while and the Nazi thing is a very weird topic with them.  She and her friends were disgraced bu the past but just couldnt understand the British humour to Nazi uniforms and Hitler.  I showed her Fawlty towers and she thought it was disgraceful even though she was a huge fan of anything British.  Also in Cardiff if she was out with her friends she would complain about drunks doing Nazi salutes and mimicking Hitlers moustache to which I would laugh till I realised I had better take her seriously or there would be no sex that evening, which is more important than laughing at Nazis :D

By the way NEVER NEVER watch Allo Allo with a german as a joke

are you serious? why?

anyway i guess eating these so-called exotic food like kangaroos is to each his own. but i do have a problem with the way they are killed. like sharks, fins are cut and dumped back into the water. why not just killed them to take them out of their misery?

and china...i have nothing good to say about that country when it comes to food. cats and dogs anyone?
