Maybe just maybe when your manager keeps playing 2 holding midfielders it is sending out wrong message to your own players like " sorry lads i just don't trust you enuff to attack cos you will just make mistakes and cost us the game".

Rafa is a good manager but he has a major flaw in his setup he is a control freak and stubbon not a good combo imo.

2 holding midfielders v a side who come to defend is so negative.  The refusal to even entertain the idea of a change is the reason we will always drop points v sides like West Ham

We do not have enough top class players who can win games and when one of them gets injured (as present) we struggle.

Like a gang of robots, pass it back ..............yawnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

In a few years I bet they will have developed robots than can play as good as professionals! We should replace Babel and Keane with them.

3. We have no decent back up for Torres, who BTW is always going to get these injuries because once it's weak it will never fully repair.
4. Mascherano allows SG to impact the game higher up the pitch, where on tonight's showing he is desperately needed.

No Babel is worse than people make out. Anyone who says Babel is talanted is either high or skunk or has been playing too much Fifa.

Yes Yossi is bad but at least he scores sometimes.

No we do not have any backup for Torres. (imagine if we didnt spunk that 1.2 or however much it was on NCrap we could have maybe got Barry. Or maybe not)

Yes it could be worse. Give it time lad.

clueless as always bav get some knowlage ffs babel did more in 10 mins on that pitch tonight then gerrard benny and alonso did all game u clueless tart.

You must be joking! your babel tinted glasses has shown again.

maybe some of us see him as a gem and feel the need to defend the lad with muppets who talk out of there :censored: like you spouting :censored: about him.

I might have babel tinted glasses but you have babel blinkers on give him a chance o wait you can't cos rafa won't.

for Holland and his former team and look class.......erm for that fact i have seen
him play for Liverpool and look class, Rafa as much as i like him will stiffle a players
flair and creativety it's his way.

Torres will no doubt turn into a sloth within a year

100% true misty said the same to my fella, rafa doesnt like players with flair, apart from Babel and Torres we dont have any pther players with flair, and yet babel our only player with a bit of flair doesnt start, but even EggNog comes on instead of him  ???

this is going to be the biggest disapointment in recent seasons cause we actually got ourselves into a decent position this year and the inability to beat :censored: teams is going to stop us again. how frustrating it is having to watch the same old :censored: unfold before our eyes with little or no prospects of signing any quality. absolutely gutted
shamrock rovers and liverpool are not a matter of life and death to me. they are much more important than that.

I'll tell you what rafa did - he destroyed robbies confidence in front of goal by substituting him in every single game for liverpool. After Robbie scored his first goal for Liverpool, guess where he spent the next game? - yep on the bench.

He's a confidence striker and at the moment he's playing with zero confidence. Taking him off after 60 minutes in every game does not help!

I think we should stop singling out individuals and look at the team as a whole. Nobody played well tonight and nobody stood out. We had another poor game at home. Lets hope this is our blip over. We havent played well but neither are the other "top 4". Cheer up and lets look to thrash 'Ull ! (After Blackburn of course !)

Seriously, what did babel do when he came on tonight? apart from a shot? did anyone see his poor pass to gerrard at the end that led to a west ham attack and the fact they would have scored?

The thing is when he does come on he gives the ball away and runs into players. Look at how :censored: that corner was today. These are supposed to be top class players mate who are bidding for the league. Its fecking fustrating to see what people like him do half the time.

All I know is we'd better not be in this same discussion after our next prem game, Rafa better straighten his :censored: out after this.  There's no room for his stubborness and dull defensive tactics against weaker teams anymore we're in first place PLAY TO WIN from now on.  !!

Has he not done the same to babel ? keeping him on bench over and over agian only to bring him on in the wrong posistion and fu.ck him up the ar.se with fans with lesser knowlage not naming names but you know who you are.

I mean 2 games as striker 3 goals babel has got yet why does rafa not play him up front beggers belief.

Yes i will defend babel cos he is a good player for his age and atm i hope he leaves in Jan cos i think he deserve to be at a club that trusts his skilland plays him as a striker.
