No Babel is worse than people make out. Anyone who says Babel is talanted is either high or skunk or has been playing too much Fifa.

I disagree Bav,

At least he will run at players and get them facing there own goal, unlike Benayoun.

A right footed player is, however, never going to prosper on the left side. With the best will in the world it just isn't going to happen.

1. Babel is not as bad as some people say.
2. Benayoun is quite frankly :censored:!
3. We have no decent back up for Torres, who BTW is always going to get these injuries because once it's weak it will never fully repair.
4. Mascherano allows SG to impact the game higher up the pitch, where on tonight's showing he is desperately needed.
5. We're top of the league!
6. We kept a clean sheet.
7. It could be worse.

Yes Yossi is bad but at least he scores sometimes.

No we do not have any backup for Torres. (imagine if we didnt spunk that 1.2 or however much it was on NCrap we could have maybe got Barry. Or maybe not)

Yes it could be worse. Give it time lad.

clueless as always bav get some knowlage ffs babel did more in 10 mins on that pitch tonight then gerrard benny and alonso did all game u clueless tart.

rafa is ruining  robbie? what did rafa do that stopped keane putting the ball in the net when 1 on 1 with schwarzer last week, as i recall robbie blew it, 20 million, defoe would have been much better option, at least he's clinical

Keane wasnt great but in my opinion but he hasnt been getting any great service. He is obviously a good player and a great goal scorer but between bad luck, poor service, pressure and lack of confidence it hasnt happened for him yet. Why Babel isnt given a chance of 4 or 5 games is beond me.

I dont care what anyone says Babel is a talent that needs to be given a chance again. He has pace, skill and can get the crowd going that extra bit. I beleive Keane will come good but we dont have time to wait. Please give Babel a chance as a striker as it is his REAL postion.

Also as usual to many players looking towards Gerrard to do it all.

One good point were top !!!

I'd cut my :censored: off for Fibiano.  He's ten times the player Keane is.  What a :censored: waste of money.

What about Pavel Pogrebnyak?

Even better, but plays best as a lone striker.  To be honest I'd take just about anybody over Keane right now.  Don't get me wrong, he's a decent striker but he doesn't fit into our system at all.  He's going to be our Shevchenko.

I really like him. Surprised he is not at a big club yet. Not that Zenit are small.  :D

I am fully convinced Rafa will not lead us to the title. I hope am wrong, but I doubt it. There is far too much caution in his DNA. He is like a striker who is given too much time on the ball and does not know what to do with it...The line up produced the performance it deserved; the subs as usual came too late to be a factor, and as usual we ended the game in a flurry of activity...

I've lost all confidence in Benitez...He does not truly know all that he is doing.
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

Bad Bob wrote:F.ucking hell that was painful to watch.  The lads looked like the had the weight of the world on their shoulders out there and that does not bode well for the title challenge.  They had 24 hours to mull the significance of this game in their minds and they collectively sh!te it, with a slew of poor performances.  When Dossena's one of your better players on the pitch, you have to worry.  I've never seen Gerrard miscue so many shots and if he's showing the nerves, imagine what some of our more excitable lads are like.  A very disheartening evening.

Thats exacly what i thought Bob . we froze mate we sh.it ourselves out there tonight it was painful to watch, Even Steven was uneasy. I said though earlier on in the thread i would be in bits if we were trying to go three points clear in the second half of the season more than i would tonight , Im just made up we never conceded 3 points to be honest. Still a gang of sh.itehouses though.

Its like for me rafa instills fear in our team why are we scared of westham at home.

Maybe just maybe when your manager keeps playing 2 holding midfielders it is sending out wrong message to your own players like " sorry lads i just don't trust you enuff to attack cos you will just make mistakes and cost us the game".

Rafa is a good manager but he has a major flaw in his setup he is a control freak and stubbon not a good combo imo.

Bav what kind of vendetta do you have against Babel? i have seen Babel play
for Holland and his former team and look class.......erm for that fact i have seen
him play for Liverpool and look class, Rafa as much as i like him will stiffle a players
flair and creativety it's his way.

Torres will no doubt turn into a sloth within a year
