Thommo should put things into perspective.

He was the assistant manager, probably had a very big say on the tactics and look at how we played! My god, such dire football and a man like him who was a cornerstone in the Liverpool side which dominated the English game and conqured Europe did not play ultra defensively with a great worry about losing but went out to pass opponents off the park and pressed them into submission.

The way those 2 were going about and having been given a sixth year after declaring there was a five year plan, he had to go with the change in the playing management.

Thommo even tried to justify the Diouf signing to Rodney Marsh and the boys.  He said Diouf was brilliant in training (ha! ha!).

But to be fair to both Thommo and Houllier, they have both still been very supportive of LFC as fans, rather than stick knife in like some we could mention.

But getting back to topic, I thought it was just me being paranoid with press.
