OUTCLASSED . outboxed, out jabbed the supossed to be jabber . imo not good enough to be in the ring with Hatton. Hatton fought im on the outside an the inside . Ricky Hatton is back far far to good an strong for him

Some fighters use this in there build up an actualy in there fights but they are what you call the greats imo an thats part of there persona but Showboating is not something what i associate Calzaghe with an it dosnt look right when he does it

I was thinking last night why i cant take to Calzaghe hes a good boxer . Maybe its his cockyness of which im sure hes earned the right to be cocky in what hes achieved . Maybe its because he landed one on his ex missus a few years ago i dunno but i really cant take to him

Erm who predicted back about 12 months ago that Hatton would fight Mallinagi in the states . I really would like to go an see this one because to me its a make or break fight for Hatton . Loose an i honestly believe that will be him finished. no more fights

he knew it was safe to showboat cos Jones has no speed and little power left , in his prime he would have been lifted the lid off Calzaghe .
They arranged that fight by txt message ...says it all really.

Hang em up Roy

Im a little bit sad this morning after watching one of my all time greatest fighters get destroyed . Oscar de la Hoya was simply no match for Manny Paquiro. I actualy though Oscar would be to strong for him with Paquiro stepping up the weight so much. But he was brilliant completly out boxed him. Osacar just did not know how to handle the leftie, Very sad cause he looked like an old man in the ring.

I wonder now if Hatton will fight Paquiro.

Kahn won in 2 .By the way

An Audley Harrison  got beat by a :censored: taxi driver from belfast.

Carl Froch took the super middle wieght title an all next up hopefully Jemaine Taylor

Still dead sad about De La Hoya though :(

Audley Harrison is a complete chump! A-force my backside :D

cant beleive de la hoya lost vs Paquiao, he should have been way to big and powerful for him but was outboxed from round 1, its gotta be the end for De la hoya now, but he can go out with no shame one of the best ever

I don't.

I think Hatton has bitten off more than he can chew with this fella if he takes the fight. That was easily one of the most impressive displays I've seen from any boxer in a long time. Pacquiao is awesome. Best in the world now by far. It would be a great fight, but the PacMan just has too much speed and dexterity.

great performance but to me it was clear that De La Hoya suffered more in getting down in weight that Pacquiao did in moving up, slow to the punch tired and jaded looking. Alot of the talk pre-fight was obviously the size difference but it was a friend of mine that mentioned the effects moving down weights can have on a fighter and tipped Pacman to have the edge (needless to say I received an "I told you so" msg about 5:30 this morning) De La Hoya walks around at a naturally lean weight of 160lb. He came in at 145lb. Thats losing over a stone of natural muscle. Its not like Hatton who puts on fat, stored energy, and simply burns it off training to get down to his natural weight of 140lb. I think the Golden Boy could have another big performance in him - but at 35 and already a very wealthy man and now the biggest promoter in the fight game its difficult to see how he can lift himself for another gruelling training regime and marquee bout. The other thing is who is there for him to fight? Hatton now seems a more logical opponant for Pacquiao next summer and there is not really a big name out there at welter weight. Strange how he is classed as one of the best fighters of his generation but every time he stepped up to fight a really top name in the last 10 years he came up short.

Which is exactly why I was on at 15/8, was always gonna happen, but will be different with Ricky, he'll take him out
