Nar let them stay in.
Were better off out of it and if we are still top in Jan I wouldnt complain to much if we went straight out of the FA cup either.
Lets hope now that theres a collective reaction and we beat bolton on the weekend and keep the presure on, if we do will anyone still be morning the mickey mouse cup?

That is v true however at the same time Dossena and Lucas commanded decent fees and neither are good enough.

Omfg what a shambles that was 6mil for Dossena absolute joke, Lucas, Deggen, Babel, Plessis, el zar,Ngog,
Cavaleri how much did he cost? absolute waste of supporters money today.

I would take out el zhar from your pick mate, he was one of the players trying to create something in the second half

and Babel and Lucas.

Dossena, Degen, Plessis, Cavalieri were all pap though.

People are stating fact, Tottenham have become better now then they were under Jol. Whether they can keep this up is anyone’s guess, but they have looked like a stern team under Harry’s guidance.

They have improved but at Arsenal they should of lost.  Arsenal were far better and threw the game away themselves.  nothing to do with redknapp.  We should of beat them as well and again blew it by not taking our chances.

to be honest some of the players who everyone had a go at in the first half wernt that bad in the 2nd Lucas was better when he had the quaaality of Alonso next to him and El zarr was alot better aswell as Deigan albeit when he went forward.

At least we have a much stronger team to come in against Bolton:;):

So player ratings

Cavielier: 5 - Major :censored: up with Dossena. Distribution looked poor compared to Riena's
Degen: 6 - Should've of been given the penalty. Was flat footed most of the night and looked very rusty.
Hyppia: 7 - Solid, scored a goal and won most of his headers in defence
Agger: 7 - Some great saving tackles, looked great going forward. another solid performance.
Dossena: 3 - Worst performance I've seen in a liverpool shirt. Played a part for 3 of the Spurs 4 goals, pants by Lennon and woeful going forward. Disaster of a game. Single handedly took us out of the game.
El Zar: 6 - Was very quite early but bobbed up late in the game to look dangerous on occasion.
Torres: 6 - Didn't really do much
N'Gog: 5 - full 90 minutes and was unspotted. A little disapointing from a player I was expecting big things from.
Babel: 7 - Most dangerous forward and fantastic delivery from corners.

Alonso: 8 -  Immediate impact when he came on, controlled the game.
Insua:7- Looked dangerous on the left. I think Rafa should consider starting him at LB ahead of Dossena.
Darby: 6 - Not a lot of time, unsighted.

Lucas is seldom played, he is wasting away on the bench, he is the at the age where he needs regular first team football to improve as a player, you only have to look at the progress of Theo Walcott to realize that regular first team football is essential for a young player like Lucas to develop into a very accomplished player.

Another player who is wasting away is Nemeth who is twice the player when compared to N’Gog. Dossena is a good defender, if he wasn't he wouldn't be Italy's #1 left back, but I do not believe he is suited to the Premiership. The same with Degen, he's a decent player, but he is a Dortmund player, not a Liverpool player.
