Who the ****** you talking to? I know you ain't talking to me, and its not "soccer" its football damn it.

Stu I didn't say that Baros was near Owen's class, now did I? His performance at the Euro doesn't mean he's a great player but he's not terrible either, he is better than Pongolle who is pure ******.

You misunderstood what I was trying to say. Baros hasn't shown us what he can really do, be a bit more patient. If he doesn't do good in the first months of the season then he needs to be replaced.

As much as i like carra, i don't think he should be the 1st choice centreback paired with hyppia. The goal dafoe scored could have been avoided with better defending.

Give Baros a chance guys. I mean, we stuck with heksey for 2 seasons when he played like ****. We should give Baros a run of 7-10 games before we judge him.

Thats if he still played for us mate, we released him at the beginnin of the season
He comes from Spain and he doesn't speak good English,
But we don't care cos he'll turn us into winners,
The European Cup will be ours before he's finished,

Baros has shown exactly what he can do. I never saw anything in Euro 2004 what i haven't seen already apart from consistency. He was still goin down blind alleys, still had a heavy touch, still lacks tactical knowledge etc etc.

The difference was he was on top of his game and was in a team that was suited to him. This one doesn't.

I think if we played 1 main striker then it would be more suited as we could keep possession higher up the pitch. Baros is a good player but he's not class and never will be, he'll always be capable of moments of class, but he's never gonna be a great player.

cant say i agree with that, i will judge when baros has had a decent run in the side, i think we should at least give him till january to prove himself, and as for playing one up front when has that ever worked in the premiership ???

I am not a fan of Baros but I am not going to slate him based on his performance in the first game. Is he a good player ? Yes, can he improve? Yes but he needs to realize that Owen is no longer here, he wanted a spot on the team and now he has it. He has to show what he is made of otherwise he won't be scoring a lot this season.

As usual stu keeps getting it wrong time and time again.

Heavy 1st touch ???

His 1st touch for the great goal he scored was perfect and even for Gerrard's goal his 1st touch was class again, his 2nd touch was heavy but yet it still led to the winner. :D

Baros was immense today and ran Gerrard close for the man of the match and should have also had a peno.

Without him we would have struggled to get a point as Cisse was not at the races but yet according to stu he should have been dropped with Cisse up front on his own.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.
