Liverpool are the best team who have played Tottenham so far this season.
For most of the first 70 mins you totally outplayed us, and I spent much of this time either looking towards the heavens (Praying?) or my feet (well they were cold and wet) in sheer amazement that we were still only one goal down.  Virtually in every position you were sharper and quicker than us, more up for it than we were.
However, whilst it was still 1-0 I kept thinking (forever the optimist) that we were still in the game, but I couldn't honestly see us doing anything.  But to be fair, King and Woodgate did pass the ball incredibly well to each other!!
Luck then came our way, and at long last we looked almost decent.
I was glad to welcome Robbie Keane back to WHL, and applauded him when he went off (I was already standing).  I apologise for the mindless morons who booed and shouted obscenities at him.  He served us well, even if it was not for as long as we would have liked!!
No one (from either side) at WHL could believe the result - you should really have been three or four up before our first.  At Anfield, last season, I felt that we had been robbed, but yesterday you were well and truly mugged.  I know it was top versus bottom, but I (not really biased) honestly don't think we'll stay there (now), but I do believe you have every chance of finishing top, although Chelski will take some beating - so long as Man Ure don't win it then I don't mind - I hate them more than i do Arsenal:angry:
One final thing, I know the early goal helped, but your fans were in very good voice, and for 70 minutes dominated (just like your team), but then presumably stunned by the goal, you inexplicably fell silent, just when you were needed the most.  Why?
Good luck for the rest of the season, unless you're playing us, then may we have all the luck:)

Good post mate , and fair enough . You mugged us good style and our only saving grace from yesterday is that the other three are still to play you at WHL i think .

Incredibly, we've already drawn with The :censored: and Chelski - they must both be spewing!  I just hope we hammer Man Ure home and away!
A lot of  :help needed from the referees in those games!

After watching the game again, all I have to say is SHAME on all those who failed to support Rafa in signing Gareth Barry. The match, especially the 2nd goal revealed why Alonso for all his ball holding skills represents a weakness in Liverpool MF. I hope that this will not be the issue that decides our position at the end of the season vis a vis the title..
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

I never got to see it,so I cant comment on the incident you are on about!
But I've seen every other game this season in full and Alonso has been fuc'king great for us.If this player is a weakness,I'd like a lot more weaknesses at LFC my friend. He's almost back to his best and  is world class when in top gear!

Poor Xabi...scores the winner against Chelsea, has been one of our best players all season but somehow he's going to be the one that gets blamed if we don't win the league this year.  You couldn't make it up.
