Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

jus read they signed and given the number 10 n 14 shirt, looks the liverpool gonna become the spanish legion lol   but ey theres no denying alonso's quality and as i dont no much about garcia am sure he'll settle in and do well with josemi who looks very solid and yet to see the crocked nunez,

kewell alonso gerrard nunez/garcia

seems an impressive midfield now, thing have certainly changed from a copule of weeks ago we were all going about how our midfield is very weak and our strike force is very good now it seems to have reversed

BBC

I like Benitez's talk of attacking football. If he can make this first team play together we really could have a cracking season.

I suppose we've had a shattering time, nerves-wise,  recently that a thread like this eases the worries.. thanks Gerrard steven

The boss is flexing his muscles without breaking in to a sweat.. he's style is like cool, calm, collected and focused totally on the club and it's need..

Garcia is a qulaity player, he scored 7 goals in La liga lsat season which was highest for his position, hopefully he can reproduce that sort of from for us.

I get the feeling this Garcia is going to be well tasty :p

Every season a half dozen new players make a name for themselves in the Prem, lets hope LFc weigh in with a  couple of them this time round :)

I think Garcia and Alonso will make a name for themselves, Nunez probably won't be starting so he may make a limited impact, hopefully all the new Spanish lads can do well and we go on and win the Premiership!!!!!! :D

I think Kewell was a tad unlucky with injuries to himself and key players around him and fuly expect him to come good this season. He stilled weighed in with a  few goals and several class perfromances . His first half particulalrly aginst the gooners was a joy to watch .......

I have to admit I know little about Alonso and Garcia ....

My point about new players making an impression was made cos we have bought in the past and several players have underperformed ..lets hope this isn't the case with the new boys.

Josemi has made a solid start , Nunez not so good which leaves room for perhaps one stunning success and hopefully not but one flop ???

Garica signing certainly came under the radar for me.
Hopefully all the signings will be a great success though history tends to show that normally doesnt happen though fingers crossed
Hopefully they will gel together fairly quickly
