And I don't think we were too concerned about the Madrid away game.

Whether that is true or not it doesnt really matter does it? They still have world class forwards in Tevez, Rooney AND Berbatov. And they done the double last season so despite Ronaldo or no Ronaldo they are still miles away from us. We have Kuyt who is ok at best and Babel who is on occasion ok but :censored: the rest of the time.

Im not really that upset at the result today (ok I am of course as we threw it away) but I knew it was only a matter of time before it caught up to us.

Until we can boast strength in depth to boss games week in week out we should not expect any higher than 4th place.

How are they miles ahead of us , have you seen the league table.

Read my sig.......1 month I tell ya. If im wrong I will happily hold my hand up and say I called it wrong. But at least acknowledge what I am saying here.

That's a really nice sig to acknowledge that bav . Really really nice positive sig that mate. Glad to see you have so much faith in the team . I'm so glad that you don't think it's a feckin embarressment to have a sig like that , you must be so proud right now.

:Oo:  the man with the agenda...

tell me bigmick how did the 'styling' in midweek affect us because we outplayed them in the first half and outplayed them for 15-20mins in the second half... we had lots of chances to put the game away like you said... then rafa brought keane off and babel in... babel didn't do anything at all and we were put under pressure and conceded from an own goal... so how did the 'styling' in midweek affect us when we were outplaying them for 65-70 mins...

nTake it to the rotation thread Magus. While your there, check out my posts in the aftermath of the Pompey game as it's not a new-found, after the event notion I'm touching on here. Also, re-read the original post you've quoted. I said it (the styling) ARGUABLY backfired. I also made the point that it didn't appear to do us any discernable good. Like I say, take it over there and I'll be happy to discuss it with you.

As for the "man with the agenda" stuff, no need for that really. Just pop over there and we'll talk about it all nice like  :)

like the saying goes, you cant win the title in the first months of the season but you can lose it

We haven't lost it yet

lets keep this fight up!
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Go cry a :censored: river and :censored: off then.

just up u :censored: im just being honest chelsea have to much depth and strength in there squad they are killin team 5-0 and we struggle

Chelsea played Sunderland, we played a good spurs team.  We could of been up 3-0 easily maybe even 4 if we were shooting like a team in our position.

Did you watch the game at all or are you just dumb?

Sorry but you are the dumb one here, we could have been this and we could have been that, well we weren't and the main reason is that half the team have not the slightest fecking idea how to score a goal!!
Plus why oh why can we not find a single bloody player inthe team who knows how to take a corner, why is it always Stevie who takes freekicks and corners when he is so bloody awful at them?

Well at least we had 1 week at top spot, I'm sure you happy clappers will bask in the glory of that for a few years!

Right on cue, are the rest on their way or did you come alone ?  :no

Instead of being a smart :censored: why don't you try and argue against me, I didn't say anything that isn't true. We have been riding our luck so far this season and today it ended despite Toffee not being able to take a joke! :D
The problem is that teams like Manure and the Chavs have so much more class in their team, we only have a few great players and too much dross. Today even Spurs showed, at least attacking, far more imagination, skill and flair than us.

I am not here to argue, it really does nothing for my ego to argue with a name on a computer screen ?

Chelsea and Man U have so much class that they have won every game this season and we are so far behind them in points ! lets throw the towel in now, you never seem to be around when we are doing well, I imagine you smash your keyboard up after you have wrote a post ready to tell us how bad we are only to have to delete it before you get chance to send it ( Wigan and Man City for example ).

You carry on mate because in moments like this when I am feeling slightly gutted, I read your posts and they make me smile  :p

You must have short term memory loss or something, I have posted loads of times after we have won, why don't you go back and check. I am not negative at all but I am realistic, if you still think we have a realistic chance of winning even from before today's match then good for you, I hope the weather is nice in your little fantasy world!

Sorry guys, didn't realise i'd joined a forum, circus and childrens nursery all at the same time.

why dont' you just feck off then...

Truth hurts sometimes.

One loss, and the whole forum starts a civil war!

Ok so here are our next few fixtures.

08 Nov, 2008 West Brom Barclays Premier League H
15 Nov, 2008 Bolton Wanderers Barclays Premier League A
22 Nov, 2008 Fulham Barclays Premier League H
01 Dec, 2008 West Ham United Barclays Premier League H
06 Dec, 2008 Blackburn Rovers Barclays Premier League A
13 Dec, 2008 Hull City Barclays Premier League H
21 Dec, 2008 Arsenal Barclays Premier League A

Bolton and Blackburn are not the teams they once were. Ideally we should be looking to win all of those by the time we go to the Emirates.

The forum splits to two sides, the "oh its one loss" and the other side "our title's gone" start a massive feck off argument just because everyones :censored: off!
