just up u :censored: im just being honest chelsea have to much depth and strength in there squad they are killin team 5-0 and we struggle

Chelsea played Sunderland, we played a good spurs team.  We could of been up 3-0 easily maybe even 4 if we were shooting like a team in our position.

Did you watch the game at all or are you just dumb?

Sorry but you are the dumb one here, we could have been this and we could have been that, well we weren't and the main reason is that half the team have not the slightest fecking idea how to score a goal!!
Plus why oh why can we not find a single bloody player inthe team who knows how to take a corner, why is it always Stevie who takes freekicks and corners when he is so bloody awful at them?

Well at least we had 1 week at top spot, I'm sure you happy clappers will bask in the glory of that for a few years!

Right on cue, are the rest on their way or did you come alone ?  :no

Instead of being a smart :censored: why don't you try and argue against me, I didn't say anything that isn't true. We have been riding our luck so far this season and today it ended despite Toffee not being able to take a joke! :D
The problem is that teams like Manure and the Chavs have so much more class in their team, we only have a few great players and too much dross. Today even Spurs showed, at least attacking, far more imagination, skill and flair than us.

quite funny how you appear only when we lost... to bask in delight at our defeat...  :no

What are you talking about, I was on for the whole match, and the same people who are now telling me to go and kill myself were being really nice to me just a few days ago, and I'm the fickle one, give me a break!

Torres better fecking be back for the West Brom game. I hope Arsenal can nick some points of Utd next weekend. I cant see Chelsea dropping any points for a while though.

I cant believe it...... we well and truly fukked it now...... poor game, terrible game, bar the first 15 minutes.  Complete write off..... the Chelsea win means nothing now..

Nothing to do with Keane being taken off.

We did not convert our chances and our defense was very shaky in the second half.

Lost all composure after Carra's own goal and since then it was all Spuds really.

Sorry, there was a period of around 10 minutes between wen Keane came off and the OG, where we lost the plot. The goal was coming when Keane came off, it gave them a bit of a boost, and sent us mixed messages. Rafa got it wrong here. That being said, we were very unlucky hitting the post 3 times. On a good day, wed have converted.... oh well, long season, many games to make it up, hopefully this will be a big kick up the :censored: to the boys to keep our feet grounded.

YNWA

YNWA indeed Stinger. We may agree to disagree on this but I'll throw in my 2c ...

However, we were looking shaky at the back starting the 55th minute. Carra had a sliced clearance and it was clear that somehow, we weren't communicating clearly at the back, in complete contrast to the first half.

Rafa did the right thing - brought on fresh legs in Babel especially given the fact that both sets of players would be tired in this weather.

Problem was, we were pinned back in our defense for a good 5 minutes before Carra's own goal. We couldn't get the ball of them. This has nothing to do with Keane being taken off.
We pretty much self-destructed after Carra's gift - the team collectively lacked composure from back to front (Reina flapping) and it was really a matter of time before Spuds got their share of luck.

2nd on goal difference isn't bad at all. As long as we can rebound from this with a win, we should be ok. Look at how Chelsea responded after their streak came to an end (3-0, 5-0).

I really don't think it's fair to blame the loss on Rafa. His tactics had worked - the players *including Keane* did not convert their chances. This should have been over by half-time.

I am not here to argue, it really does nothing for my ego to argue with a name on a computer screen ?

Chelsea and Man U have so much class that they have won every game this season and we are so far behind them in points ! lets throw the towel in now, you never seem to be around when we are doing well, I imagine you smash your keyboard up after you have wrote a post ready to tell us how bad we are only to have to delete it before you get chance to send it ( Wigan and Man City for example ).

You carry on mate because in moments like this when I am feeling slightly gutted, I read your posts and they make me smile  :p

:censored: off big style. Couldn't agree more. Looked good first 15mins but we don't look like scoring 5 like Chelsea did today.

We got the goal and seemed to sit back. Don't know what happened there.

Thank feck Torres is on his way back because Keane looks very, very low on confidence. A high in confidence Keane would've shot a few times tonight rather than trying pointless little 1-2's with Stevie. Even so, he worked his socks off for the team, being the only recognised out n out striker on the pitch.

Then the thing that :censored: me off tonight was Rafa took Keane off. Somebody please explain why you take off the only out and out striker and put a relative newbie to playing upfront for us. Doesn't add up to me. Was he playing for the 1-0? I don't know.

Positives:

1. Second only on goal difference.
2. Dossena had a reasonably good game.
3. Torres back mid-week.

Negatives:
1. Rafa needs to hold his hand up and say he made a mistake tonight with some decisions.
2. Pepe and Riera had the worst game i've seen them have for us.
3. Benayoun is junk!

One little question that the Setanta commentators also picked up on, who's going to miss out when Fernando is back?
"I certainly wouldn't say I'm the best manager in the business, but I'm in the top one."

feckin sick to see us lose grip on a game we totally dominated for the first 70-ish minutes...wasted chances after wasted chances and if that's our quality of finishing up front against a charitable defence and a dodgy keeper, then we're just going thru our traditional month of glory every season before fading away...totally sick not just for the result but more the way we lose it all.

Keane tho not getting a look at goal but was holding the line up front and allow Kuyt and Gerrard space to run but when he went off for Babel, we lost our attacking bite altogether. Again, any half-witted manager could see that once they bring in pacy wingers to run at Arbeloa and/or Dossena/Aurelio our play will be pinned back because these sad excuse for a footballer are our weakest link.

Carragher's own goal was unfortunate but we should have been at least 3-0 up by then, so there goes our lead and while Spurs are enjoying some lucky break at the moment, our inability to finished off (and score a truck load of goals) against a poor team cost us yet again...so what's new here?

We cant think it's just a one game off. What about the Stoke game? And that was at home. Why cant everyone take of the rose tinted glasses and admit we are not quite there yet. We would have taken our chances today. Or at least more than what we did take.

And Keane was  anyway, ok a little dribble for Kuyts goal but I think Rafa had more in mind when he paid 20Mil for him.

a few good points raised there Bav.

I don't think we're there yet and haven't hyped up our title chances although it was looking good, a season lasts 38 games and I don't think we have the consistency to do it.

Man U and Chelsea's only losses have came against us, they haven't dropped many stupid points and I think we will

We're in a good position right now, let's make it count in the next few games
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

We'll end up 3rd this season purely because we don't have a good enough team or squad, that isn't really Rafa's fault but is a reality none the less.
Unless we get a huge cash injection we will never win the premiership and anybody who believes we can are in cloud cookoo land.
Now can everyone please stop childishly attacking me and actually have a sensible discussion, I know you are all just attacking me because I'm an easy target and you guys are as fecking annoyed at the loss as I am, if that makes you feel any better then good.

Posts like this is why people get mad.  Its purely all your opinion and it doesn't make sense because right now we are in a very good position.
