3 points for us in this one. After seeing the result they had against Arsenal I started to have a little bit of doubt then I watched MOTD and all those doubts went. A wonder goal from Bentley that on any other day could have cleared the ground, same with the Modric shot that hit the post for Lennon to score, then we have the slip that led to the Jenas goal and the goal keeping error that led to the Bent goal, So after watching all that unfold and the ease with which Arsenal ripped them apart ( not saying we could pass our way through like they did ) and the clown they have in net my confidence returned. I expect Arry to put out a team that wants to play and that will suit us better, their confidence will no doubt be sky high but we are top of the League after having already beat the two favourites and I really cant see us dropping points here. I agree that their strength is in midfield and that is where their creative/flair players are but they will be more worried about stopping Gerrard than trying their fancy flicks and tricks and I dont see a tough tackling break up play sort of player there like we have in Mascherano. Pepper their goal from distance and have Torres and Keane following in to tuck home the inevitable rebounds when their keeper spills it 3-0 to the 2008/2009 Premiership Champions :D

Kuyt needs to eat 3 shredded wheat every morning between now and the game.

Keane needs to become more selfish and go for goal.

Reds 2 - 0 Totttenham Panzies 0.

It's a hard one to call i am kind of thinking it will be a draw cos of the Redknapp effect but on the other hand there defence is very poor not to mention the goalkeeper and no manager could repiar that this quick if we set out from the off to win i think we will.

I again think we might be more suited to playing in the prem this season

Its going to be on of those scruffy games. With harry at spurs i feel we will struggle a little. I hope we will win this one but i just got the feeling its going to be 1-1..

Well harry has said to press he is going gun ho in games till he can buy some good defenders.

So This game will be very tactical so I feel it will suit rafa well only question is will Torres be fit.

I can see us losing at least one goal so we will have to be on form in front of goal or we might draw this one.

If torres is fit 4-2 if not could be a close one I go 2-1.

so he wont be parking the bus?  :D  if that is the case then we would be needing pacey players for counter attacks as i reckon Rafa would probably sit back, soak up the pressure before hitting them.

Except for Arsenal the other big 4 teams are all at home and will be sure to pick up 3 points so we need a win too. I read on GB's site that Torres wont start and if he plays any part at all will only be a few mintues at the end. Hopefully if and when he comes on it will be at a point where the game is sown up. Could be tricky though.

Im usually pessimistic before an away game in London, but if we can
win at Chelsea we can win any game in London.

It'll be tough, but not beyond us.

We wont miss Torres that much either, Keane will be busting a gut tomorrow.

I think Spurs will choose to attack after scoring 4 against Arsenal and also playing at home - which bodes well for us I think.

No decent cover in front of their defence means Gerrard should run the show for us.

3-1 win.

Masch is a must for this one.  Arsenal were like Swiss cheese through the middle of the park the other night and gave the likes of Modric and Jenas all kinds of room to operate.  I think Masch will plug those gaps nae bother and provide a platform for us to counter-attack.

BTW, huge match for Robbie and another reason why he was probably rested.  He'll be fired up for this one but I hope not too fired up.  We've already seen how ineffective he can be this season when trying to hard.  I hope he mentally prepares for this one in the right way and I hope the lads around him can provide him with some good service.
