Baros vs m city - Pls i beg u guys!

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I m feeling great pressure for this guy....if he doesnt score tomolo..i know the liverpool fans will start bashing him..and asking for another striker..this will ruin his confidence and we will put ourselves in trouble if he loses his confidence!

It is proven in Euro 2004 that he can really score great goals..he is that good...it is really up to the midfielders to provide him that kinda chances!! lets help him to break thru and start scoring for us!! support him ...give him some times i urge u guys!

i dont want to create another confidence-shattered heskey again..sometimes i feel that it was the the fans who killed heskey!

lets forget about bringing another striker! go baros gooooo!

baros is still enjoy his succesor in euro 2004 but not in premier league. how to say is i still have lots of regret and depression when owen is scoring in the friendly match against ukraine and he's now with real madrid. :(

now baros get his space after the departure of owen with heskey and cisse is alongside with him. he suppose to net more goal since fans put the trust on him. lets cheer the goal tomorrow....baros,wake  it up....

p/s: i think cisse will score 2 tomorrow and baros added 1.  :;):

Baros will certainly come good.. he has quality in him.. but he needs time... euro 2004 and EPL are not the same... and his team mates are not either... so he muz get use to his LFC team mates distribution... and once he and cisse strike up a partnership... we may be seeing a 50 goal partnership

Baros is a great player but Liverpool fans do expect a LOT of him, personally I think now he's getting a PROPER chance not a chance off the bench we should give him 5 games or so to show he deserves a starting place :;):

Now with 4 players on the mid, all known for their excellent passing skills and creativity, they would create chances for Baros to score enough to ease the pressure on him. A few goals and he will regain self-confident, and his full potential will be revealed :)

Typical, often players are accused of not reproducing club form at international level.....we end up with a player that can't stop scoring with his country and struggles in the premiership.

After euro 2004, Baros was quick to talk himself up......now he has the opportunity he was screaming for...he can't have any excuses now.

I think you got a point. The real world comes knocking him on the head like a hammer-blow; Now he has to prove himself. I think that it wasn`t very clever announcing his wish to play for Barca, just ahead of the new season, but as I said earlier in this thread, I believe that all our creative players are going to provide him with a shed load of chances throughout the whole campaign; All he has to do is being at the right place at the right time. I believe he`s going to score an acceptable amount of goals this season

I dont think that was real clever either but in his defence if these stories of player power clique are correct and he was dropped so that MO would have more acceptable partner with Heskey last season you cant really blame him for looking elsewhere. But nows the time for his feet rather then his mouth to do the talking and hoping he gets a bagful

Jesus , I don't know ..... whats up with you people ? .. I'm pickin up very "Anti-Baros" vibes ... for f*cks sake people , is this they way it's gonna be ... if he doesn't score immediately everyones gonna get on his back and force him out of Anfield -
Yes - expectations are high
Yes - he's coming off an excellent Euro 2004
Yes - he said some remarks about a move Barca that were foolish

.. but he's an asset and I have faith in him ... he will come good now that Heskey (and to a lesser extent Owen) is gone -
No - he shouldn't be treated like a primma donna but he should be afforded our supoort and encouragement.

C'mon Baros !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whilst your comments are indeed true , Baros is not in the same league as Owen with regards to finishing  :Oo:

Owen's departure has indeed increased the expectation and pressure on the front 2 but I'd klike to see more of our midfielders weigh in woth more goals as a way of taking the onus of the strikers to score all the time .....
