Also any series that had X-files Cigarette man the Skinner plus a smattering of BSG actors is Comic book guy's wet dream  :D

Downloading Dexter ep2 at moment

:buttrock

Have you seen Episode 4 yet, Laza, with it's focus on "long pig"? :D

I'm holding off on Dexter Season 3 until the DVDs come out but I've
been re-watching the X-Files of late.  Belter of a series, that one--it never gets old!  :alien:

Yeah I have watched Ep 4 Bob,cant wait for number 5

Yeah X-files does age well , I rewatched them last year

Like Saint was rather non plussed about Dexter ep2, not sure where this series will go

Have you watched True blood yet? If so is that any good or a soapie ?

I like True Blood a lot. Every Sunday is great for me. Sometimes I get LFC in the mornings, then 6 hours of NFL, then a perfectly timed break for dinner, then True Blood, Entourage, Californication, and Dexter all in a row.

Anybody catch Life on Mars? first episode seemed interesting, probably would have been even more interesting if I was alive in 1973

Life on Mars?  Brilliant!

Ive been watching the new season of Smallville, reminds me a lot of the Clark and Lois show -still watchable
Gonna give Bones a try to, and of course awaiting the 2 greats -Lost and 24.

So until then I'll keep watching -The return of the Man who never came back LOL  :talktothehand

I also liked: "I'm a maverick and the one thing I don't play by is the rules."  :D

I'm not sure if that was some veiled dig at John McCain or not but it had me in stitches...as did the whole discussion about being "re-hymenized" and "the dude does not abide"!

Love this show!  :buttrock

Joe mentioned a show called True Blood so I caught a few episodes , pretty good Vampire series, fairly serious but does have the odd flash of humour .eg  Human swallows some vampire blood which acts like an ultra superama dose of viagra, ends up with a 36 hour stiffy and a knob that according to the doctor looks like an over ripe eggplant (aubergine) :D .

this is one of the best crops of new shows in a long time for me. So far there are a lot of shows that I don't hate which is usually my reaction. But sadly, I can see a chink in the armour in most and hope that none of them fall into a rut of doing the same trick over and over again.  I think you can find a bit of lost in every new drama these days, although most know that they are not going to be AS engaging and therefore need to be able to make each episode stand on its own more, but more and more there are over arching storylines with intricate details that add more mystery than answers every week.

I caught the 2nd episode of My Own Worst Enemy which I thought I was going to hate, but I didn't so now I will have go and watch the pilot.  But its wierd because there are a LOT of similarities to Chuck, and they air back to back on the same channel, and I don't really like Chuck that much.

11th hour seems interesting but might be a little too much like Fringe meets House meets Criminal Minds meets CSI.

And I am still watching Fringe, Life on mars, and True Blood (and continuing w/ Californication and Entourage)

For the Supernatural fans out there, all I can say is:

Risin' up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive

So many times, it happens too fast
You change your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the cream of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all in the eye of the tiger

True Blood.

Recently got into this but there's one thing thats puzzling me, maybe I missed something, can any other fan of this show explain why when the humans are bitten by the vampires they (they humans) don't turn into vampires.

Know it only a tv show but I do like continuity.  :D
