It seems that the top three names that are being distributed about are Ronaldo, Messi and Torres.
Ronaldo and Torres are understandable due to their seasons last season however I do not understand the inclusion of Messi. There is no doubt that he is arguably the best player in the world however he did not do much last year. He was injured for a large part of the season for one thing, did not win or contribute to any major titles (individually, with the national team or Barcelona, etc). I just don't understand why he would be highly considered.
Obviously my bias is towards Torres because I would love for him to win but Ronaldo is going to be tough competition.
