Bam, Liverpool like most cities in the UK will have areas that are rundown, its also very easy with a bunch of pictures to give a bad impression of a place.
Were i live alot of the terraced streets like the ones in those pictures are being knocked down and whole ares regenerated to give people more space.
Liverpool is a great city but has its problems just like anywhere else, it certainly isnt all doom and gloom so dont let it stop you visiting us one day.

I brought me kids over on the ferry about 3 weeks ago, we had a little walk around the albert and kings docks and its absolutely fabulous around there now, the walkway upto the shopping centre is great, i hadnt been down that way in a while and it was like being in a new city, people of the city should definately proud of it.
