Your emo is showing, lad. Cards are for abuse...not for questioning why someone would interpret a news story as coming from Rafa. Read the thread back and point out where any "violent verbal wars" took place...I must have missed them.

Anybody buying the club would have to keep Rafa, assuming we challenge this year, or buy a club and become hated. Cantona in 442 magazine fears for Man Utd after Ferguson goes because the owners, although hated have Ferguson running a smooth ship and winning trophies, this might be seen as papering over the cracks that will appear when he retires.
For arguments sake if I was a billionaire and bought LFC and I hated Rafa with a passion, it still makes business sense to keep him on, although that Newcastle guy must be a suuccessful businessman aquiring the fortune he has but in football terms he looks like a fruitcake

According to the gossip moguls here, Rafa will require two things to stay in Liverpool, winning the league, and then, getting the money he needs to go forward.
So at the end of the season the only one to be happy will be Peewee, either Rafa is sacked, or we're league champions, he always wins.![]()
to be honest sabre i am happy that rafa has at least started to show that he is learning and i feel we will be there of thereabouts at the end, all he needs to do now is address the big problem on the right.
and as for woof woof, duh. someone else trying to twist comments hoping for an argument, pretending to miss the obvious point of my comment shows you are stirring it, however if you did actually miss the point....... well what can i say
Is it still a big problem if we are there or thereabouts at the end of the season ?
I dont see what the toilets have to do with anything

typo - apologies
What I was asking was:
If we are there or thereabouts at the end of the season, and Kuyt is still right midfield, is it still a big problem ?
Disclaimer - I am simply asking a question, and dont want any trouble, if I have offended anyone by questioning hteir reasoning or opinion then my sincerest apologies will follow

liverpool are in the news right now because we are having a very good start to the season and there are murmerings that we might just have a go at it this time. therefore there has to be at least one liverpool story in the football press every morning, even if it isn't based on much. this is today's story.
18 months is plenty of time to get a new contract sorted out. its not as if he's losing transfer value and will be eventually be free to leave on a bosman.
I won't be the one who denies that the press has tried to unsettle Liverpool in the past, and they probably still do.
And I'm the first one to want Rafa staying here longer as I think he's the right man, but I'm very worried when I review the Klinsman incident, when I review the refusal to bring Barry, when I review when he was told to focus on coaching, and when I remember he left Valencia for less than that, I can't help to be worried about his future here, regardless what the press say.
I think that the only reason so that Rafa stays are the fans, the supporters and the city, because the environment has been quite insulting for him.
If he doesn't win the league he'll probably leave. If he wins the league, it will be the time for Rafa setting conditions to stay. But if I had to bet, I'd say that he won't stay more than this season

Isn't that the way the world works? Ironic given what this topic is about. Once you take your coat off for the Man, yer f*cked.

going on and on about not stirring up sht and carding people for it then they come on and slate a good poster imo for having an opinion !
Practice what you preach wont ya !
Get a grip , the poster wasn't slated for having an opinion, it was the opinion that was slated, hardly cause for spitting dummies.
