Agreed!I fuc'king detest international breaks! :veryangry
The team is playing well,then nearly all our players head off around the world to a different type of training regime and come back!Its like starting over again.Its the worst thing in the world for the teams momentum.
The only good thing is though all our competetors are in the same boat!

i get the feling that could be our best game of the year yet (ok i know the man u one was the best result).
this could see our team click, if they do then i hope we will be 3-0 up by 70 mins and we can take 3 top players off to rest a bit for the weekend.

I have three wishes for this game:

1) First and foremost a win of course.

2) Agger to play so he can get some more match fitness (that and I really rate him).

3) Keane to get a goal no matter how flukey it might be.

funny how underestimated psv are in this thread... theyr better than all teams in england bar the top 4... if we dont put out a strong squad with most of our best 11 starting we'll be lucky to get a draw... psv away could very well be our hardest game in the group and im pretty sure after losing to atletico like they did theyll be going out against us trying to prove a point...

I appreciate what you're saying here mate, but I really don't think PSV are a better team than the likes of Villa and City this season. They're nowhere near the team they were a couple of seasons ago imo. I also think both matches against Atletico will be tougher than the away match against PSV. But that being said, of course we should not underestimate our opponents as much as a couple of people have done. But imo we really should be able to get a win, even if we rest a few players (not a lot, just some mandatory rotation in two or three positions as Rafa usually does  :D ).

Thats not a rake he''s got hold of benayoun.

Been readin the PSV forum and they are not looking forward to facing us atall, one even suggested that if WE felt like it it could be a worst result than Besiktas  :D
