Well it was not me but those players you mentioned (and you can include Kewell) never were team players and did not put the team first. They received a fraction of the personal insults that Kuyt does especially from idiots like you.

oh my dear Oscar, it seems the mods don't include this word as an insult as thats about the tenth time you have used it against me, as tedious and inaccurate as it it please feel free to keep using it in the hope a mod will awaken from their slumber and put a stop to your tedious campaign against me.

also i am sure you will notice that i never mention you in any of my posts, even the one you quote is not aimed at you, your fascination with me really is tiresome

The amusing thing is most of the players Sabre mentioned come from America.

As long as you put insults towards Liverpool players in your sig you are fair game. It insults me to see it everytime I see your name. Get with the program peewee and don't try to be such an @ss all the time. You do not like Kuyt fine, I will never lose sleep over it. Do not however continue to insult Liverpool players or I will continue to insult you.

Well Kuyt is being used in the only sensible way in which we could give him a game surely? Are peoples memories so short that they have forgotten what it was like when he played up front?

I'll say it again, on the right in a 4-5-1 he kind of pulls it off. On the right in a 4-4-2 he doesn't, not for me anyway. Up top? I'm not even going to get started.

As for Wayne Rooney. the fact that he is played "out of position" on occasions by Manchester United, and the fact that he also occupies a wide on the right slot, doesn't mean him and Kuyt are comparable. You said Mike that in many of his games he too is "just a willing runner". He is a willing runner I'll agree, he may even be close to being as willing a runner as Kuyt is, but in terms of quality there is absolutely no comparison whatsoever. Not even a slight similarity between the quality of work the two players do. In fact Rooney on the right is the perfect example of a player who is a "willing runner" like Kuyt, but who also has a stack of raw ability as a footballer, unlike our man.

He is Ok is Kuyt, particularly on the right in a 4-5-1. He doesn't though bear any comparison whatsoever to Berbatov and Wayne Rooney. I mean, don't people read stuff back in their heads before they post it? It's palpably nonsense.

I think i will be the bigger man and let things go with the Real Socidad Fan ....

He is known to put "words" in other peoples post (think saint once pointed out this...i could be wrong though).

I just called Rooney one of the best support strikers in the world....i am sure most of the neutral fans agree with me...and he says i am creaming over him...

And then he says :

I don't even think i used the word pathetic anywhere in this forum today. Another one where he imagines stuff.

Fnally he keeps mentioning ppl like us insults kuyt a lot .... I had just described him as "sub-par" ....Is that an insult...? then he praises saint and bigmick (when i almost say the same thing that big mick say)...

Like i said....he is known to twist what "those who don't agree with him" say........

But since i am the bigger man i will just say his command of english language is very bad....

i am sure they can defend themselves if needed, i will call kuyt as i see him, he is not fit to wear the red shirt, i will never change that opinion unless he suddenly turns into a footballer.

you disagree with that as is your right, however to constantly call me an idiot is tiresome, you call me an idiot because i have a different opinion to you whilst ignoring all the other posters who also believe the same as me. you have some sort of complex over me, i can understand that.

I have insulted him a tenth of the time he has insulted Kuyt. And he is finding it tiresome :laugh:

He posts alot and has friends on this forum, this does not change the facts.

I'm all for defending any player and any point of view, but it does get to the point where it's bordering on the ridiculous.

actually if you read the thread it was someone else who mentioned berbatov and their records in their first season i just confirmed it . I didnt compare berbatov to Kuyt other people were comparing him and people were asking me who was better and i was stating i would rather have kuyt in my team than berbatov even thou you can see berbatov has more ability.
