I mean come on. In prison break they have introduced the typical hacker. This tv shows make a lot of harm to the actual computer guys in the world. In those tv shows getting something done is always a matter of minutes, you can see a lot of gibberish in the screen and a HUGE PROGRESS BAR. Solving the problem at hand is usually a matter of watching the progress bar.

No matter which system you're into, Prison break's Company OR Independence day Alien's computer system, you'll always get enormous ACCESS DENIED at full screen. For some reason aswell when the camera focus the computer guy's face, the face glows mirroring the screen, which is something that doesn't happen in real life.

To make things worse the IT guy is someone to bully, like Lincoln Burrows does, did you see all the abuse?. Then we pay for all this, and people expect we solve problems in a matter of seconds.

Yeah, you're right there. It's so cliche and insulting at the same time. They've been doing that sh*t since the 80's. 24, as good as it is, always does this. They always have that scenario where a bomb is defused with 1 second to go, and the IT people at CTU always have schematics of buildings right on queue that show the building in a 3d wire frame. Not only that, but they can pinpoint people in the buildings via some kind of super satellite. Riiiiiiiight!

and the fukkin stupid noises that computers make in films and tv shows p!sses me right off

Watched it last night Bob, great show and what a start to the latest series. You know who escapes from you know where and God tries to recruit him    :D . Can't wait for the next episode when he tells God to :censored: off.  ?  :D

Yup, belter of a first episode Woof! :buttrock My only wish is that, after chucking Sam's IPOD into the back, he would have cranked up some classic rock for his first time back behind the wheel. :D  It should be an interesting season this--they're foreshadowing a growing rift between the boys, which we've never seen before.  Like others, at first I thought this was, for want of a better word, just a mindless popcorn show that would provide a laugh or two for a few seasons before disappearing.  Definitely much better than that and it just goes from strength to strength.

Laza, you'd best shake a leg and get the 3rd season watched, mate.  You're missing all the fun! :nod

Just once I'd like to see them havin to call a support line and being put on hold with annoying hold music and a voice cutting in every 30 seconds saying, "Please hold, your call is important to us"!

Another thing in 24 that really p1sses me off is when the SWAT teams and Bauer have these video feeds sent to them and the picture quality is perfect and they don't get a picture frozen with buffering flashing away every few seconds.

It's all bollox I tells ya!!!!!   :D

[quote="Bad Bob"][quote="woof woof !"][quote="Bad Bob"]Just about to sit down to watch the first episode of Supernatural Season 4 (for those who are interested in that sort of thing...Misty, Laza and a few others).

What a belter of an episode maybe a darker side to Sam? 4 months is a long time to be without your right arm, maybe new found faith for Dean, secrets and lie's applenty for both of the brothers to contend with.

I am am sure this will be a monster storyline and i can't wait for the rollercoaster to begin.

Interesting to see how Heroes goes,

I never watched a show which hooked me so much as first series did and then turn me off so quickly by the second.

Cant really put my finger on why either.

anyone caught any of the new HBO show Tru Blood. Its about vampires and hot cajun sex. They are quite good at cliffhanging as well, I would recomend watching a few in a row to start.

There's a new show coming on sky one it's made by the same people that made lost.

Looks worth a watch, you never know it might be quite good, by the way does anybody know if it's true that
Reaper has been cancelled?.
