Yes Liverpool played well, better than Utd, but up front there didn't seem to be that much of a goal scoring threat. The two goals in Liverpool's favor were LUCKY...that's all and one was scored by the opposition!

If Wes Brown hadn't been unfortunate and Babel's mis-kick hadn't fooled Van der Sar, that game would have ended 1:0 to Utd.

Liverpool just didn't have the threat upfront and that's it. They wouldn't have scored if the game had gone on for three hours.

Bottom line is, Liverpool did play well and it was a good and fair result...with lucky goals.

Sorry but thats sh!te we wernt lucky against Yernited we deserved to win END OF.

Is right!
Tony I was liking your posts till I read this shi'te mate! :D

After the first 10/15 minutes of play we were head and shoulders above UTD in every department. We TOTALLY bossed the game and they were lucky to leave Anfield only loosing 2-1

If you think LFC were lucky against UTD I suggest you go and watch the match again mate or find a new sport! It Fu*king disgusts me to hear "fans" say things like this. Our boys were excellent last week and deserved the 3 points they got!!

We had nothing to lose -- we decided we'd take the point and I think our players played well.

Totally agree with this, Yernited had a slightly off day but we showed how well we can play.

You had over 80 minutes score a goal, yet you didn't. Get over yourselves -- you battered us, but our players battled and really well deserved.

You're not good enough win the league this season.

Guess you were "Stoking" yourself after yesterdays result....you pathetic loser.... The only offense your sh1tty team has is long throw from the premierleague discard rory dulap...

Just wait 'n' see....

At the end of the day, we weathered the storm and played well at the back. We have run of hard games, since we have Chelsea at home next but getting points is great. Finally, a point is a point. It doesn't matter how you got it -- we battled and we deserved it.

Well, you can believe what you want lads, but Liverpool didn't win the Utd game last week with super goal scoring ability...they won because Wes Brown and van der Sar gifted them a morale boosting OG and Babel wobbled a fluke goal into the net.

There were no straight goals involved there, nor were there going to be.

Yes, Liverpool played well, dominated the game and deserved the result, but luck played a huge hand in that result.

Take away the luck involved in the two goals and Liverpool are left with a 1:0 defeat.

You had the opportunity to go top, yet the best you could do was a few desperate swings and a lot of misses.

The fact that your manager is still moaning about that free kick tells the story...
