The extra rest won't do either any harm, plus keeping the same starting XI rewards the efforts of the rest. If we win tonight then leave them on the bench at the weekend and give them cameo sub appearances.

Yes and in football that is very important to reward good form some thing I feel rafa doesn't do alot lets hope he does and the players respond kindly.

Well, if they're over their respective injuries the extra rest might indeed do them some harm in the sense that it will diminish their match fitness.

That said, I can get behind the idea of rewarding the team from Saturday (but what about Babel?) with a start tonight.  But, I don't think holding Gerrard and Torres back for cameos on Saturday is the way forward because, bottom line, they're still the heartbeat of the team and they need to get back into the flow of things.  I'm sorry if that means others who played well against the Mancs miss out but I think having our top players playing is actually the way forward. :D

Ahhh, this explains it all (from Wikipedia):

he Energizer Bunny is the marketing icon and mascot of Energizer batteries. It is a pink rabbit wearing sunglasses and blue sandals that beats a bass drum. It has been appearing in television commercials since the 1980s. The Energizer Bunny does not appear in Europe and Australia where the rival Duracell Bunny is seen instead. Australia's mascot for Energizer is a muscle-bound anthropomorphic battery.

For the record, here's the bunny that Joe and I are familiar with:

also from wiki:

The Duracell Bunny does not appear in North America, due to Energizer jumping the trademark claim for the marketing use of a "battery bunny" in the United States and Canada.

The Duracell Bunny was originally trademarked for use in the US and other countries. Duracell failed to renew its US trademark of the bunny and as a result lost it. Energizer seeing an opportunity trademarked a new bunny for its use.
