of course we have advanced. we have evolved. we are gettig better, brain span is growing, we're smarter, our parents teach us more as they in turn are smarter.

what is interesting is the devolution theory. dumb people are having mroe kids, intelligent people are waiting longer and staying in work. so if this trend continues we will soon be filled with just dumb people watching trisha and kyle and the world will end!!!

Yeah but thats acquired knowledge, not intelligence mate. If you took a kid from 10,000 years ago and brought him up in modern society would he be less intelligent than the average kid of today? Have our brains really evolved much over such a short time?

What would be the difference between one of the isolated tribes in the Amazon now,and an ancient Egyptian?

Thats an intersting one,I  think they could become as intelligent as us.I dont know the brain has evolved since then all that much!
:D
For example,i seen a programme once about a girl that had lived with wild dogs, they looked after her from he was a baby!
She walked about on all fours and basically behaved like them!
When she was rescued the docs said she would probably never be normal because her most important formative years had been spent away from humans,he adapted to the dogs way of life, basically she thought she was a dog!

So i reckon if ya took a baby from back in time they would adapt to  our way of life and could become one of us!People adapt and are influenced by what goes on around them and behave like who they spend their youngest years with in most cases!

Biggest reason we Learn more now then 10,000 years ago is that we live longer lifes and thus learn more in that time I think.

Over the years human race has become longer lasting and this can only help us exspect humans to live well into there 200s with in the end of this century.

As for aliens and pyramids there is a connection I think the fact that most people tend to think they was only built in egypt , tho there was some build in north america and asia.

There is a Theory about the magnetic currents that run over the earth and they cross at points stone henge was built on one so was alot of others.

These magnetic currents could be used to for worm holes for interdimension travel or so the theroy leads us to believe I like the Idea but it is hardly proveable with out tech level.

Makes you think if they was markers for aliens to use worm holes or structures to worship.

You learn 90% of your ways in your formative years! The way to act,how to use a toilet, when to eat and sleep etc.
Its what a person does after that which defines how "intelligent" he/she is.
Some people are more tuned into knowledge, others are more tuned into other things like art and expressing themselves in different ways!
For example actors may not be very bright or intelligent but Einstein could'nt make a movie,he'd be too busy trying to make a kunt out of Issac Newton, where as Brad Pitt has probably never heard of LS Lowry!

The thing that REALLY fu,cks me off more than anything about aliens is that i feel they are a nerds fantasy and billions is wasted on curly haired freaks trying to find "the other side" every month and year!
HOLD ON YOU BUNCH OF W@NKERS!
You dont even know what we have here in the deepest rain forest, there are millions of different species undiscovered! For everything put on this planet there is something to counter act it..thats how it works so well!

What about under the sea?
Deep down there are billions of things we know nothing about and never will!

WHY look up there?...because MAN always wants what he cannot have,so he spends billions on looking for aliens that dont exist ignoring his beautiful garden in the process!
Just for the record..if aliens are out there and soooo clever as we imagine, why dont they come see us?

Oh of course they dont wanna make contact, they would rather fly across the Sky in UFOs and play tricks and hide in little shinny things that look like a spaceship out of a movie!
Yeah right!

Yeah right!

So I take it from that comment you are a sceptic then.

You are wrong a about first part tho we all can learn any thing in the mind.

People only learn things well if they want to learn them.

Like with your comment about aliens , you clear flagrant disregard for the facts about aliens shows you sub level of instrest.

Thus Proves my point you know nothing about ufos and base you comments on pure nonsense.

As far as them exsisting I am sure I can believe the word of 400 ex goverment employees over your sceptic beliefs.

So it begs the question why would one such as you self feel compeled to spend his time trying to play down other peoples beliefs.

I would think it would be because maybe you don't 100% believe you own ideals.

Do me a favor and before you base your whole ideas about aliens from your imagination look on a few links i left on here read up for a few months and then think about it and i am sure you might have a more logical view on the matter.

Cos the problem with sceptics is there arguments hold no weight due to fact they have no info on the subject.

but number9s opinion is alot more valid. How can anyone know anything about UFOs if no one has officially seen one. where are the ufos, concrete evidence, wheres the proof of aliens? there is none, apart from in the mind of lucas and spielberg.

what you are talkijg about is mroe faith than scientific fact, so really you are talking about religion, believing in something greater than ourselves without having any proof.

the whole arguament of - space is massive, must be some life there obviously hasnt been to texas :D

the main reason we go to space tho, is because we can. its why we built a boat to cross the sea, built a plane to get into the sky, buildt a shuttle to get out of the atmosphere, buit a ship to get to space, then the moon. its just the next on the list. we cant hold ourselves back, if we always did that we never even would have foundfrance (oh, arguing my point badly with that one)

there is proof you just don't want to believe it so thats up to you but denile is a ugly things don't let it blind you.

If you look at links i post you will see people that tell us of these alien sightings and ufos or might i say ETV's are people that are not mad have great things to lose saying it so i trust that more then any religion about.

In fact one might argue there is more proof of aliens then any so called god , which i feel is based purely on blind faith.

Yes if aliens are going to be our only way to find out where we come from while we exsist in this dimension.

They proved it with actual stones and showed it was a matter of patience.

Also it was given the project to current engineers and they even made a calculation of how much would cost to make a piramid like that nowadays -- months and a lot of millions.

The documentary that I saw, suggested that a very advanced civilization built these things.  Some of the evidence that they have shown was really unbelievable.  The team even bribed some of the guards and they went into restricted areas of the pyramid that were off limits to the public.  There were just some really weird things inside, for example in a certain scene the crew said that when they entered into one room, they felt like their energy was being severely drained from them.  Their conclusion is that the pyramids were some sort of a landing sites for flying ships and they had some good evidence to back it up.

My theory is that the pyramids were made by an advanced civilization but they disappeared for some unknown reason and then the Egyptians just stumbled on to these things later on and made it their home.

i'd love to hear the evidence these guys have. a site which drains energy doesn't sound like the best place to be flying space ships around to me. did they also explain why the egyptian kings were buried in the equivalent of an airport?

there is enough amazing technology going on around the pyramids that anyone that really wants to find support for their theories about alien visitors will find it, just as they will find it in the history of the maya, the dogon and many others. doesn't mean its true though.

where did the egyptians come from that stumbled across the pyramids in your theory? its a shame that people can't just acknowledge the fact that some ancient human civilisations were capable of some quite astounding accomplishments.

What the heck are you talking about?  I believe that they are the work of an ancient civilization, but not of Egyptians.  Did you ever see Egypt?  These pyramids look so out of place there, because there's nothing else that compares to them.  In fact the Egyptians even tried to imitate those pyramids by building their own versions and they look like :censored: compared to the real things. Maybe I'm too open minded, but I do believe that there are so many great mysteries in this world but sadly most people will never know about them.

the pyramids weren't actaully all that similar. look at the difference between the egyptian ones and the mayan, aztec or inca ones. the egyptian style is the classic pyramid as we all know it, the mayan, aztec and inca ones (and all the others from mezoamerica) are actually a tower with a broader base than the top. the name pyramid is innaccurate. for these people it was important for their ceremonies to take place on an elevated stage, partly to dominate an audience and partly to symbolise a proximity to the sun. building these things with a broader base enables a higher tower and a more stable structure, it also allows you to include steps so you can climb up the bl'oody thing.
