I am not sure exactly why Bamaga man decided to cancel his account, but I do know he was a good poster and will be missed. I also know that a couple of long standing posters on here should be regretting their actions, but I sincerely doubt that they will. Where there is no sense there is no feeling, so f.uck them too.

I wasn't privvie to what actually went on before he chucked his season ticket in the Yarri river, but I'll miss his contribution. I don't always agree with Bamaga (though mostly I do I think), and I think he can be a tad over vociferous in some of his spats, but in the main he ain't a bad fella I reckon. He's by no means on his own on here in that he gets a bit fired up at times, but like the other regulars who sometimes go down that route (Lando, Emerald, Peewee, Stu, Lynds, Leon, Rushie, everyone except me really lol) they add a bit to the forum even if you don't always agree with them.

I hope he comes back before long and sticks his oar in again, it livens the place up a touch.

No idea, certainly he like to give out but least he could take it as well.

Didnt agree with a lot of he said but as stated he made the forum a far more interesting place

End of day though he chose to leave and you have to respect that.

i'd be very surprised if the actions of other posters made him leave the forum. he was always able to give as good as he got and didn't always need to wait for provocation.

He did'nt exactly come across as a hypersensitive pussy himself.I'd say he was fed up with the forum and a final row made his mind up!
Bit of a drastic action IMO getting account deleted,why did he not just stay off the place?
Anyway its a shame that he's left cause he was a decent poster and a laugh at times,but its his choice and life goes on!
He'll be back though! :nod

Good poster , surprising that he left . I blame judge , must have threatened to enter from the back door and Bamaga man got afraid and canceled his account

I'm sure he'll come back soon enough. Perhaps he wanted the opportunity to develop a new user name...he's no longer living in Bamaga is he?

BTW, I'm certain Saint posted the Gerrard box-to-box thread as a way of enticing BM back. Probably just waiting for Stu to post first.

Well, not that Bamaga and I are best mates in the forum, not that it's possible to get along well with everybody in a place that there's a lot of people.

Bamaga is free to leave or to say, what I do think is that it's a shame the account has been deleted, and I hope the measure can be reversed.

Why is it a shame? Because this thread indicates many members of the forum appreciate his contribution. That contribution has been long, and it cannot be reffered any more for instance when you search it. I mean, I respect he leaves or he stays, but he shouldn't delete the account and what he has written.

I've had a few heated debates with Bamaga myself and we didn't always see eye to eye to be honest, but when it came down to it I think he was a decent enough lad and someone whose posts I would make a point of reading. I'm sure he'll be back though, only a matter of time before one of us post something controversial that he'll feel the need to disagree with :nod
