Emerald, the silver ball you saw, what size was it, a little bigger than a bright star? 20% of the size we see of the moon? Sorry to be so curious!

There are too many people that are serious claiming such things, but I always like to hear what the NASA or government say.

The best thing about what they say is they're not apparently hostile. But some of the things they say are still hard to believe, like the one saying the USA wanted to put weaponry in space precisely to hunt down EVE. The last thing you'd do is to challenge a superior technology with my shitty rockets, no?

Think that was the point they didn't really have one they was just thinking about it and that ladie 17th or 18 th witness said that guy she spoke to said there was no point because it would be ineffective.

I think tho the goverment use this space defence system as an excuess to pull more money out of the US budget for black op projects.

One thing is clear no matter what these 400 people know it will only be 10% of what is needed to be known and this is the problem with cover up's all goverment have to say is lies , you know that at least 40% of people will trust them.

But now in US 70% of public believe there is aliens 90% think goverment lie to them about most things and 40% believe they have seen one so we are moving into a new age where goverments are on there way out.

I am not really a betting man but i would bet a few 1000 pounds on US having a civil war in next 20 years if not sooner.

I wouldn't go as far as that. I think that out of hundreds of sighting s coming from astronauts, military, etc, there must be some truth in SOME of it.

But the conspiration theory that at some point are selling is far from convincing -- so far. I'm talking about the bits that I've read saying that after the global terrorism, the next "common enemy" that the USA will sell to the world are aliens. That's to say much.

Aliens would kick fu'ck out of us if there was such a thing!

The thing is though people want to believe in them so they do.Personally I think its all balls and anyone that claims to have seen one is an attention seeker.
As for seeing unexplained sightings in the sky,scientists only know a fraction of about what happens up there and cannot identify everything.
A UFO(if i state the obvious) is an unidentified flying object,it does'nt mean its a spaceship with aliens having a peek in at us.It just means that they dont know what it is.
I dont believe in aliens and I wont until ET lands in my back yard!

Yeh, I used to have the "they're attention seekers" thought when I saw a strange guy, in a strange tv program saying they saw an alien.

But when you're a bloody astronaut, or a Colonel, I think you have better ways to seek attention without taking the risk of being ridiculed.

explains how their F-16 tried to chase an object until the object left them out, then that's more than a nutter saying so. It was explained to press and military.

Now, that doesn't mean they're aliens, it might be a secret aircraft or humans from future, but if something is able to fool and outpace a F-16 it must be intelligent or at least with a great tech.

could just be what military are working on and not telling us. they spend 500 trillion a year or something and they got a shed load they wont tell us about. thats all it ever is, something that we shouldnt see yet but has been in production

they spend 1.7 trillion a year on black projects(IE projects they don't tell the public) and you say believing aliens is crazy not as much as you math to exsplain there spending.

US only spend 2.3 trillion a year on there defence budget.

I always exsplain to people that doubt aliens exsist is this.

1940-2000 technology went into such a massive drive even exsperts don't know how it happened.

Think of it this way it was aliens ships reversed engineered.

1940s is a good time to look at UFO sightings because back then there was no way to Doc video's and pictures so there is more proof.

Whats funny is there was alot of sightings in media back then i like to think before the goverment really knew how to control and use the media to there own gains.

Leg I disagree about some things.

Fiirst off the technology. Since 1940 in what have we advanced most? Electronics, computers and aeronautics.

About the latter I know fúck all. About computers, nowadays computers are not better than the machine that this brittish woman designed, Ada Lovelace Byron.

Basically this daughter of Lord Byron was one of the first to create a computer, she just didn't have the technology to make it happen. The first computer was with Valves, later with transistors, and from there we've got them way smaller and thus faster. But the math problems that could not be solved by Ada's theoretical machine, cannot be solved by nowadays supercomputers. So in that sense, the technology has followed a line in which I don't see alien influence.

I like Dawson's skepticism. I too tend to think that something could be human secret tech. But when you hear (available in youtube) the major general and the colonel from the Belgium air force, you realise that if that technology exists, that is to stay steady without sounds, be able to accelerate to 20 times faster than our aircrafts, then the military have discovered some new physics and are not sharing with us. It's way too incredible even for a secret.

What catches my attention is the lack of investment in new aircrafts these days. Basically, the same F-15, F-16 of 25 years ago are used. It's basically the same plane with better electronics (HUDs etc). Maybe they don't have to invest in new aircrafts because they have a whole new technology they got somewhere? maybe.

After the cold war, there is very little threat nowadays of the USA going to war with a country that would be able to contend in anyway with us in the air. The only tech changes that are important are the accuracy of the missiles and limiting their collateral damage. And actually a lot of those 25 year planes are starting to get retired and the new planes are ones that can take off straight up and down like a helicopter.

The UFO's are probably real, because you can search for some ancient artifacts online and you'd see pictures of unusual objects in the sky. I didn't believe this stuff until my friend had shown me a video of the Egyptian pyramids and it just blew my mind. There were some seriously advanced cultures before us here one earth, that's for sure.

If you click on this link, you'll see a hieroglyph from one of the pyramids. It's pretty creepy.

What catches my attention is the lack of investment in new aircrafts these days. Basically, the same F-15, F-16 of 25 years ago are used. It's basically the same plane with better electronics (HUDs etc). Maybe they don't have to invest in new aircrafts because they have a whole new technology they got somewhere? maybe.

I was talking more about things like B52 bomber , nuke subs(which my step father worked on for 20 years) he tells me some of tech on those subs is out of this world.

But i take your point.

But really if they was using the top alien tech we wouldn't know about it.

Last thing they want is joe public to know that we have ways to solve all problems in world that would stop there grip on us all and theyw ould lose there power grip.

We don't need fossile fuels hasn't since 1950s why do we still use fossile fuels so goverment can mass tax us and opress us.

I see the lies about aliens as a new tool for this and when fossile fuels run out they will use these new techs to control us.

I feel sorry for american people they are heading for a police state soon and there isn't alot they can do about it unless they fight there goverment.

Problem with finding out about aliens is every question that is answered 10 more pop up.

But i do believe we will find out alot more in our life time maybe even first contact.
