Expect it to be difficult.

Because that's the Liverpool way.

A little perspective needed, IMO.  On current form, any 3 teams we drew were going to be a challenge.  But, if we manage to pull our finger out before the first match, we've got a VERY winnable group.  We've bossed both PSV and Marseille in the past (psychological edge) and I'll fancy our chances against Atletico with Torres and Rafa in our ranks.  Another plus is that we've been handed no long-haul flights to darkest Russia or into the pits of Turkish "hell" (have fun, Arsenal :D ).  From a travel point of view, we've got a very kind group.  So, in reality, the only way this group is tough is if we make it tough on ourselves by continuing to play well below our capacity.  Somehow, though, I expect we'll sort ourselves out by the time the group stages kick off.

Not worried in the slightest about that draw.  PSV, Athletico and Marseille are all decent sides, but sides we should all beat.  The good thing is that there isn't much between the other 3 sides and they will each take points off one another.  9 points would see us through that group easily I reckon, and we'll get that at least.

PSV and Marseille we know all about and have beaten both comfortably in recent seasons.  The only blip being the shock defeat v Marseille at Anfield.

Out of the last years, this is the draw that I liked least. Tough one, but we must go through.

i like it this way.....now if we went on to win it the mancs can't complain about how easy our group was if it was an easy group. It's a tough group but one where we will go through if we played our best. :D

I think its not a difficult draw , we should collect wins against both psv and marseille , home and away . Athletico will a tricky game as they have some good players , aguero , maxi rodrigez .

Should be able to progress to the round of 16 as winners of the group . Arsenal are not going to have an easy time progressing , their group looks simple but those teams are very physical , and have very hostile crowds , can't fancy them progressing and their league form is sure to take a toll on them due to all the travelling they are going to have to do in midweek

At first I thought it was a tough one, but on second thoughts it's not too bad a group. Holland, France and Spain for away matches, I'd take that any day over trips to Russia, Turkey, Kiev and even Greece.

could of been easier.  Athletico are a good side and Marseille are far better than they were last season.

to be honest with you im not that bothered about this comp this year, glad we got to the group stage to get the cash but dont want it getting in the way of a league challenge, im hoping if we rest players its with league games in mind and not cl games like in the past.

made up for Torres and Garcia, should be great nights for both of them

There's a couple, just a couple of weeks in which I could get holidays and go to watch Liverpool to Madrid, do we know yet WHEN we play there?

Also, anyone who needs help for their trips (calls to a hotel, bookings and all that) that require spanish language you can count on me.

For the mates visiting Atletico, watch your heads, 95% of them are decent blokes, but their 5% is the worst of Spain.
