the only way this could have been a toughter group would have been to draw harder than psv in the 2nd seeds. Real have Juve (average) and Zenit (started season terribly) . We drew 3 HARD TEAMS. :censored:

hehe if we cant get past PSV and Marseille and we think this is a tough group for us then we'r in for a long long season... Trust us to beat Atletico (supposedly the othe tough team in the group) home and away and struggle against PSV and Marseille... Only tough tie i can see is PSV away and maybe Atletico away if we'r not at the top of our game when we play them...

It's nice for Torres and Luis Garcia to play against their old teams, but I would have preferred to meet Atletico in a later stage. PSV have been Dutch champions for a few years now, but they shouldn't be a problem. Marseille can be very difficult, since they are way better than last year. At the moment they're top of the league and they reached that with better play than us. When we lost to them last season it was Eric Gerets' first game as their coach after their previous coach brought them into the relegation zone and they won

Of course they lost Samir Nasri to Arsenal but he has been replaced by Ben Arfa who I rate very high and Cissé went to Sunderland, but only because Gerets didn't want to use him. He also bought a new striker, Bakary Kone who in my opinion is better than Cissé. Zenden has scored twice in three league games btw

I think our group looks ok, don't see what all the fuss is about, we are capable of beating all those teams, assumign we can start playing well.

3rd toughest. Still, no reason why we shouldn't win the group. If anything, I can see all the other 3 teams beating each other up and drawing a lot, so there wont be a clear challenge for the top spot.
