I keep trying to tell myself that he is good because I read it so much, but I have yet to see it on the pitch. He has some incredible limitations for someone that cost as much as he did.

We will see his first look in he didn't play that well no but he only played what ? like 50 mins football for us so far.

Also i like to add he is not a winger never has never will be he is striker.

Whats also funny is how everyones opinion changes of players on here and mine doesn't. How Sissoko was the new Vieira, Baros will be world class, Carragher's poor, Finnan's never a Liverpool standard player, Warnocks awful, Hyypia's past it, Remember Drogba, Kuyts our Drogba... blah de blah.

I've heard it all before, remember Henry, give him 10 years and he might learn to pass a ball, give him time and he'll learn to control a ball and not run into players.

I'm bored of laughing at clueless idiots like yourself. Its not funny anymore, its just tedious. Anyone who's posted on here on here for any length of time will tell you about how many times I've gone against the numbers on players and turned out right.

Well i never made any statements about those players only statements i have made.

Torres first year would bad 20+ goals many said he wouldn't.

Babel would would be a great player.(yet to be seen but he is making progress).

Benny was a bad signing.

Also I think dossana will be useful left back or Left midfielder in time.

Joe do you not think this is because he has been played out of postion since he joined us ?

Joe do you not think this is because he has been played out of postion since he joined us ?

I keep hearing that Babel is being played out of position but he's pretty much in the same position for us (left-mid or left side of a 3) as he been played has for the Dutch national team over the last couple of years. He's the only centre-forward I've seen who has never (or hardly) actually played as a centre-forward.

I would say that his best spot for us is left-hand side in a 4-2-3-1 and not in a 4-4-2.

Yes but up to point he join us he played as a stiker or right side winger.( cos he is right footed)

I think fact he is young and whats to do best for team is why he says yeah i can play any where but in truth this is hindering him in the short term.

But in long term he will make he better player learning all areas of attack.

This is only reason I can think of rafa is playing him left side also because we don't really have a natural left sided midfielder/winger.

Babel is fine. He's progressing well. Benayoun has also been a good signing.

We lack width. Two wingers are required, then it's up to the players to deliver, because we are pretty much sorted in all positions.

I notice when Manure play that they are very quick. They build attacks very fast, quick passes, actually more impressive than the uberhyped Arsenal (who pass around and win nothing).

Liverpool need some speed.

I thought Babels attitude last night was a disgrace. Reminded me of Cisse against Chelsea in the FA cup semi...... didn't look as if he could be ar$ed to try. He made a great cross from which we scored, apart from that all he did was walk about,fall down a lot and bottle out of challenges. Needs a kick up the backside if nothing else!

We need better coachs I think people rafa has are not up to the job what ever training they are doing isn't working imo.

We need to get a great attacking coach in to teach them movement of the ball and control of space.

If you look at maradona one of greatest forwards of all time he would run into space no matter where that space was.

This is key to good attacking football we don't do this at times players are just standing still wating for football.

Players don't have to be sprinting all over the place just slow steady movement around the pitch inbetween players , forward and back to give the passer options.

9/10 is the player who passes the ball can't get that ball to a team mate it isn't passers fault it is normaly fact he has no easy option for a pass.

This is why we see liverpool move the ball off the ground so much because there isn't alot of movement going on or smart movement if you like.

When i was being coach i remember being told about Triangles , We would do 3v5 on pitch and if you move right you always have 2 passes on even when you are 3v5 .

On a football pitch if you gang up in areas of pitch in triangles you have should always have 2 direct passes going forward or at least one square of you.

Maybe he come on here and read some of sh.it people post about him.

He played how i thought he would slow to start but got better as game went on and if wasn't for him we wouldn't ( or might not have been) in the draw.

So you could say he did more in 30 mins then gerrard and rest of team did all game.

Don't sound shi.t to me.
