Just like footie. Works similar, the most seasoned and succesful club coaches are the main candidates for the job.

interesting, because at least over here, there international basketball calendar is a lot smaller and coaching the national team would be no where near considered a full time job. Maybe there would be some close to full time scouts who are keeping an eye on everything internationally and domestically, but Coach K probably works 90-100 hours a week on his Duke job so there is very little time for anything else.

ive just come back from from visiting some relatives in Jamaica, and the place has gone olympics crazy! Each time a gold medal was won, the place erupted, with cars beeping and people cheering, Bolt is obviously the star with his amazing triple crown. Ive never experienced so much excitement for an olympics, the amount of interest and support reminded me of the World cup when England get to the knock out stage, was really incredible.

Pleased to hear Britain done so well so aswell, its about time we got in the top 5, as a nation of our size should.
