Happy birthday Joe

I was also looking at RAWK a bit because there "seemed" to be people on there with "knowledge" on transfers. Never going through that again, that site is cr@p.

The old good student days are gone eh? I thought that in America it was some sort of tradition that when you ended up studies you went through the world to voyage for a year, but you didn't take much rest!
Happy birthday mate

Personelly I liked the individual birthday threads, as its a bit more personel for that person on their day, and plus I often forget about the birthday thread.

I don't know about tradition, but I do know people that do that. Probably 5%, maybe even less. I did take most of the summer off, and was only back in the working world because my parents said that I was going to have to start paying rent to live at homeUnfortunately, my job is nothing remotely related to what I want to be doing, it isn't even challenging, nor will it look good on my resume (CV). As a libertarian, any kind form of working for the government and being indirectly paid by the taxpayers makes me feel sick, and the fact that I am grossly overpaid makes me feel worse about myself. Thank God its only a 2 month long contract because it is incredibly repetitious, boring, tedious, and repetitious

But this should "buy me some time" to look for something closer to the marketing field or at least in the private sector. Big problem for me is that I majored in marketing, yet I do not have any design (web or otherwise) experience or skill, and most entry level positions for someone like me are in some kind of low level Sales, which really only requires a high school diploma.
As far as my birthday celebrations are going, on Friday, I went out with a bunch of my friends from high school that I played American Football with that were a year older than me (I usually played 1 year up) that I hadn't seen in 5 years. Unrelated to my birthday one of them had rented out a limousine for the night and we went out in DC and got shitfaced. I hadn't been out for a while and was quite embarrassed to find out that I had passed out in the limo before the final stop at the strip club.
On a positive note though, I have lost 2 and a half stones since graduating from college.
