Well a big sorry to everyone who read my topic about transfers etc last week. My source (who has been severly yell at) has made me look a right t**t.
when I spoke to him last week he told me the Owen move was a smoke screen. I promptly told you all the good news and BANG! that evening Owen went to Madrid.
I spoke to source last Thursday and he said:
" Oh yeah, I knew the Owen deal was signed and sealed, I was sworn to secrecy. If it leaked too early i'd have been sacked."

I dare not come back on the forum after building everyones hopes up a bit with what I thought was solid information.
I hang my head in shame. You probably hate me as much as the hustler now and I can't blame you.

Yeah I should think so too Lee J, you big silly!! 

At least you've been honest enough to explain the mistake and it wasn't like you'd been giving anyone loads of abuse or anything. Still should be banned tho !!

Ok I'll apologise as well. For tellin' you that Morientes wasn't coming but gossip in Madrid suggested it could be Ronaldo .
