Okay I've just seen the replay of this Usain Bolt in the 100M heats and I'm speechless.  The lad looks like he's jogging at the end! :O

Amazed that Phelps pulled it out of the fire to win his 7th as well.  How the Serb didn't touch first I've no idea but what drama in any event!

Thought I wouldn't get into these Olympics at all but they've been excellent. :buttrock

Just picked up another bronze and gold in the cycling.

China will finish 1st in the medals table. America will finish 2nd.

But 3rd place is entirely attainable for the British team.

UPDATE: Another gold and a silver in the cycling.

Phenomenal!

That was a magic race. And he could have done even a better time, he ran with the arms open at the end! celebrating the victory, and still being the fastest man of history to cross the line.

Incredible.

The Bolt performance was amazing.

He stopped trying after 90 metres.

Incredible stuff.

Credit aswell to Joe's basketball team as USA smashed Spain this afternoon. If a team, that is superior, is also spot on from the exterior shots (so far USA had been poor in 3 pointers) then they become unbeatable.

Great attitude of the americans who are indeed redeeming past poor competitions.

What a great day for sport today, I still have in my retina Bolt's race.

Have hardly watched the olympics after being away and have been loving some sports that i dont usually care about.
The Cycling over the last few days has been great to watch and the coxless fours in the rowing today (although they where favourites) was amazing. They were about 5 metres behind at the half way and came back and won by a similar amount, i was standing up cheering.
Watched one of our cyclists in the pursuit heats over take his opponent which was imo unbelievable.

It has been great to watch, but the football is back now so am not ersed again  :D
