i think this season we should buy 4 more in Poldolski, Kompany, Borre & Van Der Vaart....with the sale of crouch pennant & riise io think this is possible

then nxt season splash all the cash on Messi

I see Aston Villa have agreed a fee for Sidwell who they obviously see as a replacement for Barry.

I would imagine we will go in with one final take it or leave offer of around £14 million and if Villa refuse it then we will walk away. We all know Gareth Barry wants to join Liverpool but its about time he now made his feelings more public and put in a transfer request.

I think if Aston Villa refuse one last bid of £14 million then it's time for Rafa to look abroad for a new midfielder as he has obviously has decided that Alonso is not mobile enough.

Podolski's a great shout, actually.  He has a wicked left peg and his link play and movement are quality.

Well then you were right.  He had a good World Cup in 06 but is even better in these European Championships.  Plus, he's been seasoned nicely with 2 years at a big club.   He'd cost a fair wad of cash but probably would not be in the Villa or Eto'o bracket.  Plus, his game would suit the Prem, IMO.

Thats where I saw him play and he did look very good, he had fantastic movement and an eye for goal in and around the box. To me he looked like a typical poacher, something we lacked at the time but I dont think any of Europes bigger clubs have ever shown much interest in him ??? I've often wondered why.

  Missed that bit, whos he play for Bayern ?

Yeah me too but it was only becasue he done so well for me on FM haha

Its a shame we cant get more German players over here.

Schweinsteigger would also walk right into our first team. He hasnt been as good in the Euros as he was in the world cup a few years ago but I think thats becasue he needs a change of scenery.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Yup.  Signed with them just before the World Cup from FC Koln.  Apparently. he's only scored 17 goals in 72 appearances for them, which might explain why he's linked with Spurs rather than a top club.  I'm sure his fee will go up after doing well in Switzerland-Austria but he'd still be a cheaper option than Villa, I reckon.

I've yet to see this lad play.  Is he finally available for Russia tonight?  I'd like to see what all the fuss is about. :nod

Arshavin available

Andrei Arshavin is available for the first time in these finals after serving a two-match ban yet there are no guarantees the FC Zenit St. Petersburg playmaker will start as Hiddink ponders possible changes to a team he believes did a "decent job" in defeating Greece 1-0 on Saturday. "There's a lack of rhythm to Arshavin's game because he hasn't played recently. He's not match-fit so I don't know if he'll start," said the coach.
