Nice little glimpse there of Pacheco's ball skill.

Rafa may as well save this £1.5 million he's gonna spend on that french lad.

There is only Pacheco who seems able to create anything for us at the moment

Pennant IS poor, he could have put Pacheco in there with a little slide pass but under hits it.

If any player looked match fit at this stage it would be a worry not vice versa!

I think (and always have) that he is a star in the making.
now sammy lee is with us i hope he gets the chance to show Rafa what he can do in real games.

Rob Jones was one of Liverpools finest full backs never scored a goal allthough he nearly did against the mancs  He was a great defender and i think he would of been an England regular if it wasnt for his injuries sadly

If his only competition was Degen I would be betting he would be a regular by the end of the season, but with Arbeloa coming back I think he will probably be lucky to get more than a couple of games.

Boring

Boring

Boring

Lessons learned:

-Pennant is way way off the standard required
-Derby has not got what it takes. No contribution WITH the ball. One good defensive tackle.
-Leto is not going to make a difference this year
-Pacheco could get a lot of first team football this year against lesser teams and also coming off the bench when games are won.
-Agger has a lot of work to do until he is back to his pre injury standard
-Plessis is too slow for a premier league top team.
If football is banned in heaven. I'd rather go to hell.
