Personally i would still be very concerned about us breaking down stubborn sides that play with no intent on attacking (which happens alot)
That side would beat most, but the mediocre sides imo would rub there hands at the prospect of shutting us out with that team.

I would say if we can get someone who can play on the right instead of kuyt.

Maybe putting gerrard back to right midfield IF alonso doesnt leave, because we need someone who can dictate tempo in midfield and alonso can do that.

It has no pace out wide, i'd put SG wide right, barry in the middle and buy a left winger FFS.

I doubt so mate , we've got gerrad back in where's his best and also we've got that 2nd decent striker that we need also , we could always replace kuyt with babel as the match goes on , he plays better as a substitute as he's still young .

Good team i reckon just missing silva??

Not enough guile or creativity in the positions were we have needed it for years.
That team would be very hard to beat, but i think with those players in the wide positions could at times struggle to break down the sides that put every player behind the ball.

I would rather pay the £5 million extra and get Berbatov. Not only would he be a better "fit" to play with Torres , but it would also hinder our rivals the mancs. £20million for Keane or £25million for Berbatov........I would take Berbatov every time.......even though he seems to be a bit of a mercenary bstd.

Absolutely.. Berbatov is so much better than keane.
He can dribble.. can run fast, can head, can draw defenders away..
Most importantly can score in premiere league.
Only an idiot would think otherwise... then again in the transfer market Rafa doesn't seems to be wearing his thinking cap when buying players. Honestly.. no different than Houllier just that fans want to think he is better in the transfer market.. Can't argue with that, it is their own business.. cheers.

Berbatovs attitude absolutely sucks tho, hes a disgrace for spurs and im surprised they even wanna keep him. hes a bloater ala ronaldo waiting to happen, would rather take keane over berbatov any day.

I would not take berbatov because of his attitude thats the difference between him and keane .
