I wonder if we will see any significant changes to our fitness levels this season? Rafa seemed to think that Paco worked the team too hard in pre-season and that we suffered early on as a result, with Sammy Lee back, will we see a return to more pre-season games to attain fitness and less training ground routine?

Fitness is the key in helping you attain results during matches . Matches are won and lost usually in the last 15 minutes at times, sometimes the other team's players fade out of the match and lack fitness . I remember babel and also lucas saying that they could not adapt to the premier league's pace as of yet and they were not fit enough to last the whole 90 minutes which is possibly why rafa almost always subsistited babel during the 60 th to 70th minute mark or brought him on as a substitute

I think I counted five friendlies in fourteen days which would have managers moaning if that were an end of season competitive schedule.

Players need to be fit, if we're signing players who can't maintain fitness then we should be worried. Players like Gerrard and Torres run all over the pitch and look knackered come the end of 90 mins, perhaps they should conserve their energy a bit rather than chase quite so many lost causes
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer
