I can't really see him dislodging Ronaldo so easily at Real and Raul is still the prince of Madrid so he'd get his chances as a sub and has to score immediately. Unless, of course, Ronaldo gets a lengthy injury lay-off.

Anyway, there is no doubting that as a proven goal scorer, he has gone on the cheap and we were squeezed to off-load him or he gets to go on a Bosman.

Ckay, I don't think Owen dives a lot, certainly he is not in the same class as van horseface or Henry in the diving stakes, he tries not to fall on most occassions that he is challenged.

Not bad business by LFC, it was cunning ploy by Owen/his agent or whoever.

With only 10 months on his contract, what can Liverpool do but to sell him as he has repeatedly stalled at signing the contract extension for over 1 year.

8 million is bad business, if it was 14 or 15 that would had been fine.

its more than 8 mill really when u think we dont have to pay him 4 the next 10 months and we have a player in return nunez or sommat like that lol

Yea but nunez is only worth what 2 million? Owen is worth more than that,come on now.

not with 10 months left on his contract if he had 2 years left theb we would be talking 20 25 mill
