John Arne Riise completes Italian Job - Norwegian signs for AS Roma

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Relieved we finally got rid of him and got some cash. he used to be good going forward but was always shaky defensively, I think we will be better off without him. That having been said he did score some cracking goals and I do wish him the best for the future.

I read on some rumor page that he was going to Roma, like 2 weeks ago. Gotta find that site for future references  :D

:D Time for The Reds to move on ,but hope he flourishes at his new club ,besides the Italians play in slow motion so  he will fit in

According to Manhattan's sources, the doctors at Roma were shocked to discover during Riise's medical that he's actually a futuristic cyborg.

glad to see JAR is getting the recognision he deserves on here! i know alot of people
on here don"t rate him, but for me personally i"m gutted to see him go. everyone on
here is entitled to their opinion & i won"t always agree with certain members on here
but i do value their opinion, as they have knowledge of the club & the players who
play week in week out, thats why when it comes to players like JAR i will agree to
disagree with those who think he has been sh1t for us, cause although i think
he didn"t have his best season for us last year,he has given me personally
some fantastic memories in his time with us, the best for me & believe me
you had to be at the game to really understand where i"m coming from
was against the bitters hence the song born from the albert cd (the 12th man)
cause we sang & we danced & we shook the ground that"s made of wood
JAR scored against the sh1t! magic memories that will never go away!
a player who loved the club, & i"m sure he"s gutted to be leaving aswell
for me there are players who should have been sold before him, as his
commitment was never in question, good luck in the future JAR.
as far as i"m concerned you can leave the club with your head
held high.

Good post that Redhayesy.

Riise, Sissoko, Alonso... do you think this interest of Italian club's in our footballers is related to Liverpool screwing up teams like Juventus or Internazionale?

I think so, and that's why I expect Alonso, Kuyt and all the rest do a great Euro, as I think a couple of good games in the proper place can raise the value of a player.
