Well having been accused on many occasions of being more concerned with being proven right than I am about the club winning matches and trophies I have a question.

I just wonder if Rafa has actually seen the light, and goes into next season with significantly less rotation (which I absolutely think he will by the way) will some of the people who have religiously backed him want us to succeed just as much as they have in the past?

The answer of course is that they will. That's the thing about supporting a football team, you want them to win regardless of your standpoint on a particular issue on an internet forum. The team winning is far more important than that. No doubt when some of the people who back Rafa at every turn read the original question, the very though that another so-called fan could question their loyalty made them a bit p!ssed off and possibly a smidge angry. I know exactly how they feel.

It amazes me,

How we're all allowed to whinge about H&G.

How we're all allowed to whinge because we havent got enough money.

How we're all allowed to whinge about fixture lists, and the mass conspiracy against LFC.

But we're not allowed to voice our concerns or even question the manger and players when we lose a football match.

Note: Some of the so-called "doom mungers" are usually the first to share their happiness after a win, myself included, its not a one way street, like some seem to think.

Not only that, I'll be happy to admit how wrong I was, just as I was wrong about Torres' adaptation to the premiership.

Equally, should I'd be certain of that being the reason for failure, I'd sack Rafa if I could. I'm not loyal to Rafa the Spaniard who is an ex Madrid man and sells Alonso. I'm loyal to Rafa, the man who I think will bring the best to this club despite I don't agree everything he does.

I've seen destroying my local club in the precise moment Doom&Gloomers started to impose their views.

Sacking managers is like fúcking and eating, once you start, you cannot stop. And I don't want Liverpool falling in that spiral of sacking and impatience. I want Liverpool to succeed.

People call that happy clappy, in my book it's patience. And I only have patience with the people who I think are in the right track.

In fairness to you sabes, you are not and never have been in the thought police in my book. You're quite happy for somebody to have a view on football which opposes your own, without resorting to calling them a disgrace/disloyal or anything similar. Equally, although your stance on Alonso/Rafa/rotation and the like is clear, you are prepared quite happily to debate the points, and even occasionally admit that like all of us sometimes you've made a mistake every now and then.

No I'm sorry mate, your application for Zanu PF membership has been unsuccessful on this occasion, and thank goodness for that.

Well that's the good thing about thought police books, they don't actually exist except for in everybody's thoughts, and we've all got our own versions  ???  :eyebrow  :D

BTW, forget the Gestapo comment, it wasn't aimed to you.

What happened is that I replied furiously to a Bamaga post, started to type, and deleted everything, instead I prefered to answer your post. But I left a footnote of the previous answer. :D

In all seriousness, aren't we exagerating a bit in both "camps"?

It's true, wanting the manager out doesn't talk anything about loyalty. Wanting the manager out is because a genuine fan thinks that's the way to improve, which is nice.

But, Bamaga can't say he can't whinge about the manager, because he does every day. What's the worse they do in the thought police? dismissing some arguments with one liners? saying a couple of unfair comments about loyalty? It's not that much, although I admit in some cases, like S@int a few weeks back, the stick he got was too much. Similarly, telling a fan that "he's happy with failure" is equally unfair.

I just ask to understand each other better, we're all reds.

I could give you 365 links of the last year, but, I'll give you this instead. www.liverpoolfc-newkit.co.uk. It's all there.

Bamaga, you don't have problems to express your thoughts on the manager. Yes, sometimes you're dismissed with one liners instead of discussions, but, you also do your "police" stuff, by telling me I won't support this club when the Spaniards leave, calling the Canadian similar things, or naming us "thought police", happy clappy, or "happy with failure".

I don't agree S@int or Bigmick on rotation or Rafa any more than I agree with you. But I have "outbursts" with you and not with them (normally), because their posting style is less aggressive and ready to discuss ideas. Ironically I've seen yourself telling Bad Bob to go a game, and I've seen yourself offended when LeonMc tells you the same thing. Besides the notions and arguments Bigmick or S@int use, you could also copy something of their posting style.  :)
