I guess its better he got hurt now than in the tournament, as long as he recovers fully, still not good news though

According to Manhattan's sources, Dirk Kuyt is also out of EURO 2008 too.

The reason Van Basten gave is that Kuyt would miss Babel, his room-mate, too much.

Spain 1 - 0 Peru First Half. Villa.

Not a great game, the tackles are hard and there were a couple of spats.

Our players didn't have the best of the first halves. Torres isn't as comfortable when the rythm of the game is cut with multiple fouls.  He really enjoys the high tempo of England. Not that he's doing a bad game, just that his mates are not giving him the kind of service that makes him lethal. The cúnt of the commentator is of course tellings digs about him. What a cúnt. Hope he does a hat trick in the second half.

Alonso has done two or three passes that shows his skill (at least for what we understand in Spain as skill), but he fúcked up 2 or 3 times due to lack of concentration, and he's not supposed to do that, so below par game for him so far.

So far, average game.

Aragones must have found that Alonso and Torres hadn't the best of halves, because both have been subbed.

Anyway, tests.

There are many inmigrants of Peru in the stadium. One of them, obviously on drugs, has entered the pitch and started running while he sends kisses to everybody.

Spain is different.

For what is worth, I only watched the first half of yesterday's 2-1.

In the second half I was browsing the rumour mill, the game was that dull.

Aragones, about the test said that probably the men that started the game will start the competition, which means the two reds in it will be Alonso (He'll be a red until he's allowed to be), and Torres.
