I think thats a bit of a steal £12m like.

agreed...call it 17 million and we'll throw in the world class Voronin also.

I'd be surprised if the Italians told me he's an excellent passer of the ball though! I'm happy he's doing well.

Bit unfair that Sabre, its a bit like me saying I would be surprised if the Italians said Alonso was fast or mobile :D

If Juve want to buy Sissoko, Alonso and Riise then let them, I'd rather they sign those three than Torres, Gerrard or Mascherano. Point is what kind of side builds around that level, one ok, one good and one poor. They can come have Crouch and Pennant while they're at it, Juve can then change their name to Liverpool 2007 and we can play pre season friendlies to realise those old debates about whether the current team would be a past team
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Isn't Sinama Pongolle actually doing well now for Recreativo?

He's doing well enough to be included in the rumours of bigger clubs , yes. (not Barcelona and Real Madrid, but bigger than Recreativo)

Always liked him, he would of been an ideal player to keep and bring on late in games, or one of Rafa's options for when he is doing his rotating.
Far far better than Voronin who is the current fourth choice, and surely he wouldnt of been on too high wages.
We only got about 3 million for him as well didnt we ?

Was there a sell on percentage included when we sold him, cos i heard that the other day somewhere.

People keep refering to the fact that Sissoko's doing Ok at Juve which is good as he seemed like a top bloke when he was at Liverpool. I must confess I always rated him very highly, I had him down as the most destructive ball winning midfielder in World football. Does anybody have any more than "apparently's" and "by all accounts" by any chance. I ask purely out of curiosity, has anyone seen him and has he managed to recapture his very best form which he showed prior to his eye injury with us?

The first clip in particular was impressive, Sissoko doing what he does best. I always liked him and it's nice to see that those who said he was absolutely useless (and there were many on here lets be honest) were probably going a bit over the top.

For me Sissoko is one of those players that are very difficult to defend from negative comment, as they have such huge flaws in their game, but I always felt that when he was used correctly (asked to just destroy rather than create) was probably the best in the prem.

I don't believe we could ever have played him regularly with Mascherano as the lack of passing and creativity would have been stifling. Played with Alonso at his best, Sissoko was ideal, which is probably one reason why Juventus are keen to link them up again.
