Pies & Pineapples hey Igor.

Maybe we can eat those as a celebration when the Yanks jump ship.

As we are being all formal:

In response to the post from my learned poster I would wish to attract the attention of said learned poster to the following reasons why I beleive that said poster and other respected posters should bear in mind when considering the relevance of the forthcoming season...

1) United would equal our league tally with another win nest season, thus we need to make this as hard as possible by challenging.

2) It seems inevitable that a lack of title challenge would result in a change of manager, thus setting us back (IMHO) at least two years on the road to any league challenge (with the new manager needing to get his own team together) in which time we could b ecome the second most succesful team in England.

I trust my learned poster understands my non so learned point of view.

Not necessarily _ one example is Capello in his second spell at Real Madrid. He didnt need
a new team.

We just need Rafa to realise that rotation/dropping key players in the first half of the season,
is not the way to maximise a teams potential in the league.

There is nothing WE can do. those who are there on matchdays support the team, because thats what they need and thats what we're there for......as for anything else, pray the situation changes, try and do something about it....what that is that will make people notice or care up top i do not know yet.

Disagree 100% mate. The fans are the life and soul of any real football club. It's just a case of getting the message across to the majority. People vote for a goverment. Ditto for us.
