Mocking Liverpool for not winning another trophy is like mocking Jack Nicholson for going one year without winning another Oscar.

That's right mate, if you can just hold on until the two yanks have gone (won't be too much longer hopefully)you will still get one anyway ,just a little bit later than usual.

Has anyone else noticed the hypocrisy surrounding the boycott of the new home top on this site.

Take a look at the advert flashing at the top and bottom of the computer screen right now, so technically this site is in effect supporting the current owners.

Anyone who feels like the boycott is the right way to go, should obviously start a boycott of this site. As it is just a one big advert for the new top.

Hypocrisy  ?

Some members support the purchase of the new kit , some don't . The owner of this site supports the ad for the new kit. Some members may disagree with that decision, but their continued contribution to the site can hardly be classed as hypocritical .

With 50 posts in three years you're hardly qualified to start throwing stones at members of this site.

Any wonder why some people like me feel intimidated to post on a regular basis.
I point out one fact and i'm attack but I can't remember mentioning you in my post so why did you think you had the right to be little me and turn it into a personal attack.
I wasn't questioning anyone ethics on here or anyones right to post on here, I was as I have already stated pointing out a fact.
You in your own words you said that the owners of this site support the ads for the new kit, so how is it not hypocrisy to continue posting.
By posting you are accepting the ad and what it is trying to do i.e selling shirts.

Intimidated ? Personal Attack ?, my response to your post was nothing more than a rebuttal
.
Your posts infers that it's hypocritical for people who are against the purchase of new shirts to remain members of a forum that advertises said shirts.

By posting you are accepting the ad and what it is trying to do i.e selling shirts.

Is there something in the small print that says we have to buy them ?

I don't go along with the ad's I see on tv but guess what, I still watch tv, does that make me hypocritical ?

How can you say it wasn't a personal attack, you bring into the discussion my posting record, how did that in any way strengthen your argument.
You drew attention to it to try and discredit me. Just because I don't post 20 times a day doesn't make my point or view any less valid.
I access this site more than twice a day & yeah I should post more, but I'm sure as a forum moderator you can call up my posts, I don't make flipant comments, don't goad people for the fun of it.
I try to make posts on things that are important to me, things that I think matter to our beloved club.
The boycott of shirts is of course a personal choice, but were do you draw the line, sky sports subscription, match tickets all of which would have a equal impact on the owners.

As for the assertion that the ads dont have an effect on people of course they do thats why companies spend billions of pounds on them.
Of course there is nothing making people buy from them, but they will. Human nature means that some visitors to this site will click onto the ad and purchase a top otherwise why is it.
That ad has been on this site since I joined so it must be serving its function or else why is it still being paid for.

Wel, I would have to agree with you.

I think the only thing that would hit home what is going is an empty stadium on the first home game of the season but we aint gonna do that are we.
