There isn't really anything wrong with it per se. It's a commercial venture aimed at 'raising the profile' of the sport, yet it doesn't represent what football is about at all. It's false, gimmicky and fanciful IMO. It's an attempt to get a wow from the audiences, who in all likelihood have no appreciation for the sport itelf - barring perhaps a few. The organisers want to make a few quid, under the banner of trying to 'raise the profile' of the game - i.e. they have no real interest in promoting the sport's true values. For those who take a genuine interest in the sport (The Joe Terps of this world), then I do accept that it's at least an opportunity for them to see players they wouldn't normally be able to, even if it's a sh!te attempt at a competition. In summary, I don't like it, but I can accept it to a certain extent.
