Jan mobly - Proper player

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Just had Jan here last friday, on a sportsmans night, what a great guy.
He's a fella who loves the shirt and realises what it means.

Never slagged anyone off and he really shows a love for our team that is hard to believe from a man from  Denmark. It gives you hope that where ever you come from from you can still be a true follower.

Great Scouser !.

Have anyone seen him playing in the Masters?

He just stands in the middle of the park and picks the passes out.

He is still the best player on the pitch without even moving :D

Have no doubt Jan has a deep affection for the team he represented for 11 years and was an outstanding player but he is in fact a die hard Arsenal fan dating back to the Charlie George goal in 71. I'm glad he was able to fulfill his commitements of late because he's been speechless since the European quarter final defeat
:D

I seen him on Soccernight last week providing the crosses for Aldo.  Every ball landed on his head, helped them break this seasons record and take the Heads and Vols title.

He wasn't even looking where he was passing it if I remember correctly.

A superb player once the club bought in McMahon to fulfil the Souness role allowing big Jan to work his passing magic.

On a side note, this thread has reminded me of when the fanzine "Through the wind & rain" took the mickey out of the John Barnes lucozade advert by having Jan doing Carlsberg..."After five minutes of sheer hell......."

Carlsberg must have been filming quickly if they wanted to catch him with a full bottle in his hand....
