Article on Girl Crime

Now this was mentioned on Question Time earlier and it surprised me how they managed to dance around the problem and put it down to everything other than it being the girls fault ! Its down to the schools, pressure, family and yet if it was the reverse, if it was boys commiting more crime we would be talking more detention centers, imprisoning 18 year old + teenagers.

The one thing us lads are taught, is never to hit a woman. Its not manly, its not clever and also all girls are bitches. Now this is a fact, backed up by most mothers who tell there sons and by most women who will admit girls are bitches. With lads you know what your getting, an argument and then fisticuffs, but not girls, they know how to belittle you, they are not taught it its just natural !

Anyway back to the point. Girl crime has risen, judging from the response it looks like this is going to be treated differently, which got me wondering. If you beat the sh!t out of someone breaking into your house you would be hailed as a hero, however, if a girl broke into your house and you did the same, you would be in the wrong on so many levels. Why?

Just as kids with half a brain knew they could not be sent to prison for breaking the law, or indeed if they got a slap on the wrist (or not as they are minors and it is classed as assault!)
Is it down to the fact that as, from what I percieve at least, girls are now understanding that they are not only underage, but they are girls. And that in itself makes them more or less, immune to prosecution?

In terms of human race, and even in the so called more civilised countries of the planet, girls haven't been under any kind of advantage in our society. You have plenty of examples, from bouncing heads in the French Guillotine, to Spanish girls that were found in another bed, concluded that they were possesed by Satan, and therefore burnt.

Girls, couldn't vote until not that long ago. And while several steps have been taken in the last decades, there's still steps to make until all humans are treated the same way regardless the sex.

So, when I find a thread that discuss about a certain advantage position of the girls, and talking about inmunity, brings a :Oo:

face, but that's just me.

Of course but your talking historical, im talking present day britain. Im talking where we have moved on. Civil partnerships, the eu and immigrants. However not everything has moved on and on some issues we are still stuck in the past. How many times have we stopped ourselves short in sentences which involve foul language because a lady was present. As we know, nanny red and ciggy are as clever as us, more so ! there opinion all round covers everything, but my point being why are teenage girls being treated differently. Is it a case of the boys only understand punishment and therefore benefit or is it a case of double standards?

Kharhaz, the actual debate concerning the issues associated with an increase in crimes committed by girls is a fair enough topic to start up, but I haven't a clue what you're banging on about in those three paragraphs.

i get u kharhaz mate, they know they are underage yet they are open to having themselves done cause they know all they have to do is cry and the guy gets in anyway. that's a flaw with the law that ive observed for a really really long time. :;):

there were 59000 crimes by girls last year, thats up 12000 on the previous year

i think its cause there are more girls during their teens now, which is why the number has risen, but im not sure of the percentages, and as result of the drinking culture, crime has inevitably risen. Gang culture is also on the rise in girls. Society is shi't now, and there is no real deterrant.

however, the police are starting to prosecute more girls who commit crime, and rightly so.

Yes, it is indeed a sad reflection of the times when you pick up a paper to read about a 16 year old girl murdering a man with a screw driver locally and is out on bail. She and a group of her mates tried to steal a well known and respected fella's van he used for his green grocer business. He confronted them in the act, and the girl stabbed him in the head.
