Every thread,there is someone making reference to Man UTD or Alex fuc.king Ferguson as if they are some sort of higher body we aspire to be like!
Its starting to do my ti'ts in!

Lets get one thing clear Man UTD are not the benchmark.Our success,and history is what we want to replicate.We dont need comparing to Man UTD all the time.

LFC has set its own benchmark throughout the years and its a very high one.Thats were we are going and what we want to be like........NOT MAN UTD!!

True. But unfortunately they are only now just one championship behind our own record. That really startled me when I read it in the papers earlier. It's shocking. We need to do something about that fast or they will overtake us very soon.

The mancs have won 10 league titles since we last won it   
How many more times are we going to have Gerrard saying next season? Its starting to get a bit embarressing now.

This is a man who not so long ago was considered the most vile , arrogant , hypocritical, greasy ,antichrist and the list goes on. Why don't you fellas just go the whole hog and scream for fergie to be our manager. Such short term memory some of you have

As I said, I would love to see what you would say if he did become our manager and win us the title.

I didn't realise football was about nice blokes with lovely personalities, maybe thats where we are going wrong its supposed to be about WINNERS.

The best manager to manage LFC is the one whose been there for 4 years done nothing wrong imo

I have already said I would give Rafa one more season, but if he doesn't improve on this one he should GO.

If he goes we should get the best possible manager in, in my opinion Maureen is the best manager available at the moment. If a better manager becomes available let me know. 


Shankly was doing just what Maureen does now 40 years ago. Winding up the opposition and their fans. "They are terrified of us" Shankly just before the cup final against Newcastle.

If you were a Geordie do you think you would have been clapping that? 

Was Souness a little angel as a player? Or do you think other teams fans might have thought he could be a little rough at times? Or Tommy Smith ? When they are inside the tent  p!ssing out its one thing, but if they are outside the tent p!ssing in no one like them.
