crewe nanny...any maybe warrington wolves (rugby league side) after all the only reason we played Wrexham was to help them out finicially and our reserves used to use the racecourse ground as their home, now it's moved to the Halliwell Jones stadium. I don't think the wolves are best pleased with us either, we won the league, where as they are in fifth in the super league  (good mate of mine is an avid fan of warrington wolves and keeps me informed as if i care)

the exotic adventures of the north west eh.

i knew what ya was on about love, i'm not that soft yet. but i was just informing you on the exoctic adventures the lads will be going on in the north west in pre-season. the sandy beaches of crewe and the glourious weather of warrington on a summer's afternoon.

seriously though, i think we'll do the american tour this year, just to commercialise ourselves a bit more over there and we're owned by yanks anyway. United and Chelsea have done it recently, so I expect us to. Maybe Asia again. We seem to go over there a fair bit last few seasons and again Hicks has recently touched on our lack of commerical sales in Asia so he might decide to send us over there.

From New York to Tokyo to Crewe

hope its a free flowing match with us winning 4-2, clean sheet would be better obviously but i have a feeling berbatov will want to score on his last day playing for them.

id like to see as many reserves get a chance but for us to start with a strong team

play a full strength side, i mean they all must be fit and raring to go, its the big end of season title deciding games like that they were rested for earlier in the season

:( Yes it does all seem a bit daft now all the delayed gazelle stuff when you look back on it. Those early campaign Champions League games, Pompey away and Brum at Home where we needlessly and pointlessly messed around with the line-up supposedly for the big push at the end of the season, when in actual fact we should have been big pushing all along.

Funnily enough I don't think we are by any means on our own this season in terms of paying a price for over messing. I think the "most exciting Premiership climax in history" is very much only so because Man Utd have handed Chelsea lifelines on more than a couple of occasions with Ferguson attempting some "styling" of his own. I remain convinced that they are by a fair distance the best team in the Premiership this season (I don't actually think Chelsea are any better than us to be perfectly honest, not when we play our best team anyway) and it would be the supreme irony in the whole rotation debate if the idea was to directly result in Man Utd losing the title on the last day of the season. I don't unfortunately think it will happen, but it will be extremely funny if they do indeed fail to beat Wigan in their final match.

Various managers seem to be testing out the theory of rotation to varying degrees. Rafa seems to ploughing a bit of a lone furrow in his belief that people need to be rotated after five matches or whatever it was, but Ferguson definately does it more than he ever used to, and even wenger rested a couple in some minor fixtures (Everton Away for example  ). Should the Mancs not win the title today, we might have to put up a "no Mancs allowed" sign on the good ship anti. Lord knows we're chocca enough already as it is.

:D Come on when have you known me do a smiley on here  when rotation is mentioned.

In all seriousness though I think the point about Fergie almost styling them to the point where they concede the title to a much inferior team is a fair and valid one.

I agree, how much more proof is needed that it costs points
