Kewell out this summer - No contract renewal

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby JC_81 » Thu May 08, 2008 6:05 pm

To be honest, I wasn't going to say too much on the Kewell topic as it's been done to death in the past and none of us expected his contract would be renewed.

What has infuriated me is to find that Benitez did offer Kewell a new contract, with reduced wages which is fair enough, but that the little bollox turned it down!  What a cheeky cu.nt.

We have given him the benefit of the doubt time after time while he has sat there injured and picked up his 60 grand a week, listening to him say how he wants to repay :censored:, fans.  Well that was your chance Harry - re-sign for low wages to prove your worth again, but the true colours have shone through - Kewell has no loyalty to this club, if he did then he'd have jumped at the chance of any sort of contract with us after we've spent 5 years paying his medical bills.  :censored: wee :censored:

have to admit i'm surprised that:

A) rafa offered him a contract

and

b) Harry turned it down

Imagine how the Newcastle fans would feel now if Owen didn't sign his contract extension and left them either for a reduced fee now or for free at the end of next season.  They would be absolutely livid after the fee they paid for him and what he has cost in wages, for very few appearances due to his injuries.

This is exactly the same and Liverpool fans should be furious with Kewell.  5 million transfer fee, and then we paid him 15 million quid over 5 years in wages.  15 million :censored: quid!  Despite not properly earning the money we have thrown at him, he has the cheek to turn down a reduced pay deal.  What?  He thought he deserved to continue to be paid 60 grand a week for feck all?  Now he will walk away for free, sickens me.

Should have known he was a pi.ss-taker when whilst on sick-leave with a 'sore groin' he still managed to get his bird up the duff.

I'm gonna have to stop posting in this thread, getting too worked up

no sh1t man i cant fuc[B]king believe it, he was offered a new contract after everything and knocks it back to play at some c^nt hole of a club like newcastle or bolton. dog act harry.

as if he fkn turns down a pay as you play contract. I would fkn pay to play at a club like Liverpool and as one of the biggest Kewell fans going around I'm extremely disappointed that he clearly doesn't love the club like he claimed too.

I wish someone would bump the old Kewell thread and you will find that I knew this would happen and have been saying so for three years. He showed his intentions when he refused to fix his injury an the summer opting to go on holiday with his wife. He then did at the start of that next season. Since then his lack of commitment was glaring.

I am glad he is off, biggest waste of money. No doubt his PR machine will get him another fat contract at another team even though I cannot understand how anyone can be that stupid. A-(or J)League football me thinks.

I hear Rafa has got another player to replace him. He will be able to play more games than Harry.

What a prize bast@rd Harry Kewell is if its true that he was offered an extension on less money and refused it!
TBPH i believe it and am not atal surprised. To me he was always more interested in appearing in glossy magazines with his missus and showing off his house on shi.tty TV shows than he was in getting fit enough to play for LFC.

Rafa stood by him in the hope he would get fit one day and be of value to the team,he was paid £60k a week for doing fuc.k all.Now hes offered a chance to pay something back to the lyalty he was given and refused because he thinks hes worth more than he was offered...what a cu.nt!

Any team that are stupid enough to take a punt on this useless money grabbing effort of a footballer deserve all the shi.te that comes with him.Personally i hope the :censored: gets injured again and never kicks another ball in his life!
Never mind waiting to the contract expires Rafa get the fu.cker out the door now!
