Sorry if this has already been posted else where on the forum!!!

Anyway, just seen on SSN that Sammy Lee is joining the coaching staff our club.  Not sure whether this is good or not, what do you think?

it will be a good move with alex miller off too japan as sammy already knowns the coaching set up and has worked with rafa before, one of our biggest dips this season was with paco leaving and rafa not replacing him

i think sammy is a great addition to the back room staff and has had a taste of management and it bit him in the :censored: so he should be content

but i haven't seen it on ssn either

Just seen it then , says Sammy Lee set to join the staff, then says he is the favorite to replace Miller. Not confirmed though.

would be a great move if true.  He knows (and loves) LFC and is a top coach.

I think it's a good move bringing Sammy Lee back, he has a great passion for the club and his enthusiasm can only benefit the players.  Maybe not management material, but as far as coaching goes he seems to be well thought of, and not just at LFC.

Should get along with Rafa ok, when Heighway was asked what Sammy was like he said he was a good coach, but definitely a "yes man".

i also think gary ablett deserves a chance at working with the first team after the great job he has done with the reserves

maybe sammy to take the reigns with the reserves?

Way more important is to assess why we have lost two senior backroom staff in under 12 months?

Alex Miller leaving is a real blow bearing in mind the progress on the field this season and the experimentation to find better systems.
Is Sammy (a contender for the job, not confirmed) sophisticated enough for this role or should he be coaching the reserves?

I love Sammy, but I´m not sure he´s the best man for the job as Liverpool have moved on and also, he´s a fat knacker.

I´d rather bring in a young coach from a club that is playing exciting football and clearly doing something a ´bit special´.

Like what are they doing at that St Petersburg side that battered Bayern etc..?
